7 years later… I just became a fan of The Mavericks Band & All of Their Music in the past few months. Thanks Gerard, for this most amazing concert footage. Amongst The Best I’ve heard. There is so much on RU-vid that I’ve become a Fast Fan. Raul’s Solo covers are great too.
My wife and I saw Them on Austin City Limits recently, and we were Mavericks- possessed. Such playful, good-natured, and talented 'trovadors' . We were smitten with this dulcet sound
So glad they broke free of the Country label that held them back from awesome stuff like this! Loved them in the '90's during my radio DJ days, but the current sound is way more fun. Raul, Paul, and Eddie are incredible professionals without resorting to annoying flamboyance.
This is some of the best concert footage I've ever seen. Thanks Gerard, you're a lucky guy to have been so close to the guys. Eddie Perez is absolutely on fire here, he's a true rock god!
Damn! I'm STILL in Love with Raul! From East Texas to Germany, still rockin & shaking me out! He and the lead are simply the greatest duo I can't sleep without. Aahhaaa!
Mi No Hello Mi No Das haben ich gern getan.
Their song What Am I Suppose to Do sounds so much like How Far is Heaven by Los Lonely Boys. I love both songs. I'd love to hear the Mavericks do that song. It would be so good.
Shirley Craven Add me to the jealous list. Raul Malo is a mix of Roy Orbison,The Every Brothers and The Righteous Brothers. I know you had a great time!
Okay, I'm officially hooked! I'll admit, though, that the quality of the video makes a lot of difference in its enjoyment. Anyone have a favorite one? Why was it your fave? I have chromecast, but I haven't put it on with the Mavericks yet. By the way, the Mono picks he played in Hamburg were really good, I thought.
I will never know what happened to this show in march at the potowatomy casino in Wisconsin. , so disappointed after a 3 hour drive one way, I was so excited to see the show,i am not sure who showed up, because the group we saw , started 1/2 hour late and then it was as if some kind of gloom and doom hung over the whole theater, Raul did not seem to be happy on stage, took no request , said he wouldn't, and said he was turning 50 this year, he seemed almost angry about that,no inter-action with the audience as usual, just his ' I-phone" thing showing how rude it is for the audience to sit there with their phones on,that was ok some ppl need to be told, the theater is a small one holding only 500 people, the band had the sound up so high it distorted everything completely, raul"s beautiful voice was unrecognizable , they had the sound up as if it were a 3000 seat theater or outside event. the sound man should have known better, after about 45 mineuts the band seemed to relax and they played and seemed better,i personally think there were angry words among them before the show and they couldn't shake the feelings,i actually had to see the doctor for my ears a few after the concert, had a small problem that took about 2 weeks to clear up,the sound was to loud for a small theater, hope the sound person makes the changes the need next time they lay Wisconsin.
candygal01234 So sorry to here about your sad experience in Wisconsin.))) I like to wish you for a next Mavericks show lots of pleasure with the Band and of course with Raul's lovely voice !!!
Hab noch was vergessen: Ich habe fast 150 Minuten Mavericks genossen, also 2:30 Stunden.
erna545 Etwas zynisch geschrieben aber vom Kerngedanken her hast Du Recht.
Hands down. This is the Band that can pass any younger Band out their They are on Fire from the moment they step out on stage till the last song is played What a group . What Fire and Passion. Long LIVE THE MAVERICKS
