The MBC: Dual Path A-D Converter & Limiter 

Just spoke to KMR audio London yesterday and discussed about how this will work in my set up with Apollo x8p & prism Titan, really impressed with the sound on RU-vid videos with this unit.

So this can be used as a "first stage" for making mixes "warmer" with more "character" before going to final mastering stage with plug'ins? Can the limiter in this device be used as a first " a little glue" compressor of the raw, dull mix or is just that "the limiter that limits the peaks" ? :)

Is the limiter on this a brickwall type limiter or slower than that?

So this is t geared towards mastering or tracking exclusively, but made to do both well, equally?

i am interested in buying this but i have a few things which are still unclear to me. They may sound novice, but here these are: 1. With A to D conversion with MBC, would i be able to hear them via studio monitors i.e. more defined sound, since conversion is happening via them but since these do not have a monitor output, the interface will relay sound to studio monitors which is being converted by MBC? 2. If i have 4 mics to record via 4 mic pres, 2 of them can go into MBC but remaining 2, can they go to the main interface and somehow all 4 of these will then be converted to digital via MBC, not sure how this works?

i had wish me that Level Leds go beyond "0" in a other color just to get a visual helppoint on how much i clipped! sometimes my ears need my eyes to reference... hmm i really guess thats the only weakpoint. for over 4000€ its a shame to DBX my eyes - a better representation of accurate metering i would highly recomend... nevertheless i have to buy the MBC... two clippers a better than non i guess
