That’s because when you take tests some questions are like, “do you have a complex or simple mind” and obviously if you put complex they’ll assign you as Intuitive, and simple as Sensor, but no one would want to see their mind as “simple” so a lot of Sensors are mistyped as Intuitive, which is why the tests are inaccurate and you should self type after having information about cognitive functions and yourself
That doesn't exist The first letters can only be E or I The second letters can only be N or S Third letters can only be F or T Fourth letters can only be P or J Whether you're assertive or turbulent is only an extra part
@@walwal6449 So sad, lol. If I didn't said that, I would say, "It is so rare that way less than 0.00000001% of the population have it. Beats the XNXJs rarity for real.". However my irritated response kicked in because my mother thinks she knows everything and spewed nonsense about her type when I asked her type. She thinks MBTI is something stupid I guess and only takes personality tests.
@@pranavr0ybruh only 16 p the letters was classified as pseudo science. Cognitive functions never was which was made by Carl Jung the same guy who coined or created the term introvert and extrovert which DOES is scientific and can be proven to a certain extent.
I am into psychology so... I think its normal for me. Making mbti a trend or taking it too seriously will also cause negative reactions. I have seen people talking as if having a certain type makes them superior or special... Mbti is all about cognitive functions it should not be pulled into hierarchy.
True. I’m infp. I only get out to go to the grocery store… and that’s because I’m dropping off my ISFJ sister to go inside and get them while I sit in the car. I’m such a home body.
@@chexinsanity Both. N are mainly nerds and/or like more brainy activities some of them will work indoors like ENTJ, some of them will play and read or watch anime etc like INTJ, INTP, ENTP mb INFP etc The only N I can imagine actively outside is ENFJ
The problem is they don’t really understand cognitive functions where it was originated. It was watered down to these 4 letter dichotomy, so they’re like i’m a J, i’m a P, etc 🤦🏻♀️
Ikr..it annoyed me so much when they do that..and then they said 'T' people don't feel sympathy and 'F' people always cry like shut the heck up! that's not true.. anyone can feel sympathy..why I said this? Cause I watch so many korean tv show that talk about mbti and they never talk about cognitive function.. it's always the letter 🙄
I think it depends on the person and how seriously they actually take it,, there are ones that know about the functions and stuff,, but there's also ones that just know what theirs is and the vague idea,, like with horoscopes in north America,,, most know what theirs is and are maybe aware of certain traits or what element it is or smth, but not all the details to it
@@lilac624 if you wish to know more about yourself and others yes but in reality most of our personnality is just instinctual there is no science behind that
Imagine just going along with those labels but not even bother whether you're that type or not- That's what I did, I started being ISFJ when I get into MBTI for the first time (I was 15 years old when I found out about it) and after realizing the errors, I keep referring myself INFJ and INFJ until.... Someone finally helped typed me accurately and they were not wrong at all. I'm INTJ-T 5w4 (I lean into emotional, so I can be seen as INFJ/INFP), my tritype is 584 (the scholar) and so forth. Full details are in PDB, you can easily recognize my comment if I mentioned about narcissistic abuse (about the fact that I hated myself and why I even existed even though nobody was there for me lol-)
I remember before, I was chatting with a MBTI moderator. He's an ESTP - 8w9 - sp/sx - 846. I was like.. "Damn, look at all intuitive subs, they're fucking packed, those people are mistyped", and you know what he said???? "IDC, we need people to make up for missing NTs and NFs", and I was like.. "Yow, that's like a different level of NPC".. then I asked the ENFJ who mods the main page, she said.. "They can't type themselves, no need to educated them.." I actually hate how ineffective, inefficiwnt, inequal, the MBTI Community is. People don't get to use small tools for growth. My baby INFJ was in an Ni-Ti loop and can't stop accusing me of shit, but he's not mistyped, so I know he is in a loop. What if it's like that for other people if they're not mistyped? But it'll never be. ISFJs find the most, hardest to type themselves. I hate this community.
Because they type like e or i or n or s like e = social i = shy Its a very stereotyped view of mbti which is inaccurate and false (and disgusting to people who suffer discrimination because of that)
no fr they’re so obsessed with labeling them self but not learning more about themself and how to improve themselves because all they know is the letters when they mean nothing
@@sadumae Yeah, I find it so irritating and pathetic I wish such content about the MBTI cognitive functions will get more recognition in SK and other parts of the world
@@NiTeLightYears me tooo and everyone’s just like “it’s not that deep; you’re taking it to seriously” but it’s literally just misinformation and i don’t care if it’s ‘pseudoscience’.
It’s possible they’re everywhere in the world but few scattered, my brothers Tia an infj apparently based on what he says he has a high IQ too and read about it and stuff so I trust he’s a real infj but he doesn’t put it on he social anymore as ppl like you (sorry maybe not you but you get it) they say it’s so rare etc etc and think that it’s a flex to be an infj so they roast anyone who claims/says to be an infj and have a debate on how they’re not an infj Actually funny enough I once said I’m an INfj to my brother and he said “no your not” and got all defensive lol that was years ago and I didn’t know much about cognitive functions and I was new to mbti so I just trustees whatever result I got but anywho 3% of 9 billion is 270million. So don’t be surprised if meeting an infj when your out and about or whatever they are rare in personality but not hard to meet there are many people in this world and the chances of meeting one is high if you try
If you are walking around and ask people if they know their mbti, the people that would answer you are so much more likely to be NF because those are the people that care about that kind of stuff a lot 😄
The fact is most of it MBTI doesn’t really describe our character and based on my uncles (psychiatry) data, Ixxx not even really an introvert person. He was said that MBTI is more like analyzing our habit system, not the truth personality. And it’s an old theory (no thesis) that just coming up lately because of sns during pandemic. Personally I will take it for fun and yeah just to know though I’m not even remembering mine.
introvert and extrovert in mbti has nothing to do with being socially introverted rlly, it is just a pseudoscience but cognitive functions are much more accurate.
@@intensivemathematics5943 ~ but still there are a lot of people considering themselves really as an introvert if their mbti result is I and vice versa. It feels like an early judgement and at some points it's not fun anymore, just like traditionally Korean and Japanese people had the tendency to believe about character based on type of blood.
@@lilac624 because estj are te dom and infp is te inferior which means estj will stick to facts over theory and have ease setting goals in their life while infp will have will to plan their goals but will struggle to do so because of their fi dom

I think it is for job purpose. if for sports who play soccer come into a group called soccer group. if you play music, it is a music group. if job, dancer could be group under dancer but it would separately more into 16 groups MBTI of dancers where leader, type of dance, type of choreography, creativity of the dance goes into specific group to work as a group. It may good in job satisfaction and personal growth. however it become stressful to become personality you are shame of or not able to achieve. I would say it can be group as zodiac like those Taiwanese but added flavour prone to self development. though it is personality stuff like people prefer salty, sweet, spicy, or sour the four kind of 'S' but it does not make sense if obsess goes along with stubborn on MBTI when quarrel or misunderstanding took place, where every MBTI has dark side. use it well or else suicide rate is going up.
how do you know they;re miss typed, not all intjs are misstyped yknow, Im an intj-a too woman, i doubted it and thought i was an intp for a long time but the test kept givving me 90 % in the judging fungtion so i went into a literall year long study of cognetuve fugtions and social ehaviours of both these types and more.Perhaps she's done the study too, if not everyone should not saying it as a bad thing necesarily but just to undertsnad yourself and your mindset a bit better @@shadew2147
@@sohamubashir4562 the test is literally known for mistyping people because the test has such a bias towards intuition and added the -a and -t thing.. i literally took the test numerous times and got infp or enfp when i'm an isfp. that's the reason people think OP is mistyped, because cognitive functions do not include -a or -t.
@@adorablegreen1362Yes, that is an interesting concept, but it's not really that they have to learn it. Could be good for them to know though, that 16 personalities is just a watered down version of big five, so if one wants to describe their personality using dichotomies (letters), then big five is something to look into. But yeah, I'd recommend cognitive function theory to the real enthusiasts.
Does mbti have any scientific evidence? Say yes or no No. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) lacks robust scientific evidence to support its underlying theory of personality types. It is not widely considered a scientifically valid instrument for personality assessment in the scientific community. ChatGPT ❤🎉
Yeah the original MBTI is based on Carl Jung's MBTI cognitive functions theory, and he is one of the most popular psychologists. Real MBTI is just about the explanation of how one's mind work, the how and why they perceive and make a judgment in a specific way, it's like the software of a brain. While the MBTI that's popular in media are false MBTI that is based big 5 model instead cognitive functions.
