Yes, Morgan is a serious bassist with a great tone!!!! She is serving and supporting the song by owning the bottom instead of making it about herself by playing a lot of fills. Very impressive!!!
She is playing that bass🎸. She's following the keyboard player and she thumping those notes. The drummer is staying in the pocket. They were driving in the key of D major and moved up a whole step to E major. She was playing an ol' skool' bass scale. The more she studies her keys, practice scales and patterns, she's becoming a professional bassist.
My friends. The first song I ever played when I inaugurated my quartet broadcast in 2015 was He Changed Me By Ricky McDuffie and the family. Even after the passing of Ricky, they still toil on in Jesus' name.
U have gifts playing the bass No matter what KEEP GOING forward play the bass U have great ear of music Your sounds so clear 🎸 It time go recordings studio have only CD This is sounds I look for RIGHT HERE SHE ONE Great job 💯
Loved the overall sound. Everyone played within a beautiful and balanced parameter. I even enjoyed "bam bam" (Flintstone reference) on the drums! The drummer didn't have a roll that he didn't like (laughing).
Maan! These ladies look lovely in these fitting red dresses. ABBA DOH! Oh. The music is nice too. And I need some of that gum the bass playa chewing. Lol!
The drummer does stay in the pocket but has yet to understand 'Levels'. He is way too loud and trying to be heard over the rest of the band and vocalist. Once he discovers and understands this, he will be phenomenal.
THIS!!! The tightest pocket gets overshadowed when cymbals muddy an otherwise clean mix. Really bummed it wasn't cleaner. I was enjoying them for a few minutes.
The camera is BEHIND the band. No speakers pointed in the camera's direction, of COURSE all you can hear is the drums. In front of the stage, I'm sure it sounds perfect. LOL, some real pros in here.
Been drumming too many years with too many pros to know where the camera is......doesn't matter how much editing you do.....even the drummer's arm movement and hand positioning....as well as killing the cymbals tells the tale.
@@traymilligan2865 you're relying on a side of the stage audio source to critique a drummer's volume level without having a clue as to what the front of house sounds like. Nothing pro about that. Is he a smasher? Absolutely. Is that inappropriate? you have no idea if it is or not. Plenty of churches have smasher's that are loved and adored for that style in particular. Nobody in the house is complaining and I guarantee you , if the Pastor didn't like it, he'd be gone. Ever been to a black church? Seems unlikely, so take it from me, this is exactly the style they want from the drummer. Have a great day!
It would be nice to see the keyboard player play with some anointing instead of just talent. He's too busy wanting to talk to the bass player and wanting to be cute. This is ministry, not a show. Maybe he should be at the Apollo.
Cheraw used to see that back in the day when our family trip from DC to St Matthews South Carolina I'm talking about the back roads in the 60s and 70s a time that is gone but never forgotten in my heart, Our neighbor was from Cheraw South Carolina
aint nothing like Quartet music! I couldn't help but start cutting my step in here. Let'em stare at me I dont care, they cant tell it like I can tell it, I know why Im dancing!
