I like the Me 262. I hope the next versions comes soon ( Me 262 B-1/U1, Me 262 V056, Me 262 B2, Avia S.92) and I hope more camoflages comes soon.

The Me262 A1a was the first jet I looked at in detail when I saw it in the german tech tree when I first looked at it. The moment I saw that preview, it was magic. "I MUST have this aircaraft!" And so, my long adventure playing War Thunder started, and it`s still going on today. Nowadays of course, I am flying this thing, and I love it with all of my body, so much so that I even made my own custom skin for it, and learnt to do so just so I could! This Video made my heart smile, thanks for making it.

True story: One game, I was bored and put on red smoke in my 262 with the 50mm gun. Two more slotted in and turned on black and yellow smoke. One of the proudest moments in my life.

in aviation muzem Praha Kbely, they have two of them one Me- 262 in Czechoslovakian markings as Avia S-92 (after war assembled plane) and one Me-262 in german markings (this one was assembled after war too) but the one with german markings is quite unique because it is TWO seater version used for training

Hey Gaijin I got an idea, how about for just like 1 week all planes BRS are put in chronological order, with enough separation so that time periods don't mix, would be fun just saying. Like if you agree?

I have had the enormous pleasure of seeing an Me 262 at the Australian War Museum in Canberra. It is in pristine condition.

Me 262 is such a beautiful, fast and powerful plane. Even back in 2006 I really enjoyed seeing pictures and stories about it. It's first appearance was in a game called "Sky Odyssey"

Me 262 B-1a/U1 night fighter when?

It's a shame you recently nerfed the SL income of the Event Me 262 Sturmvogel in Air RB and even more drastically in Air Sim. But not only that, at the same time you also significantly increased the repair costs too. It gives now about half the SL income as the A1 variant and has 1/3 more RP costs (15k). Sad too see you don't want us to actually play the Sturmvogel. Edit: Also it was the biggest mistake to make the Sturmvogel a event vehicle. It was the seconds most produced 262 variant and it handles drastically better in air battles then the A1, due to the fact that it has only 2 MK 108 cannons. The lower weight makes it far more competitive in this regard.

Fun fact : the engine's lifetime is literally 24 hours or a day . So yeah

Remove repair costs. A vehicle should be balanced through battle ratings. Not punishing a player for using it.

It would be nice to see more variants of the ME 262 and the a variants just don't accelerate fast enough to be competitive your always at a disadvantage in a A variant

If it was produced and used in 1944 and the most advanced aircraft at the time, how come it goes up against vehicles up to 2 decades ahead in technology?

The national air and space museum in Washington DC has an ME-262 a1a with lights and speakers in the cannon ports that shoot when you walk by. You can Walk right up to it and touch it!

I've always wondered what it must have felt like flying a Messerschmitt 109 ( for instance ) and then sitting in the cockpit of the ME 262...From a pilot's point of view the transition from piston engine to a jet ?

Its great how the narrator sticks to WW2 for the ME 262 while in the game you are always sent against super uptier from 1960s and 1970s.

The anti tank variant was definitely a trouble maker in ground battles.

German engineer: Lets make the most over powered plane thats super easy to use. Gaijin: Lets get this plane and give it rockets and bombs and then give it a 50mm cannon.

The Czechoslovakian Avia S-92.4 will be findet in the Luftfahrtmuseum (Aircraftmuseum) in Kbely. The Museum is a former Militaryairbase, 8,5 km away from the Capitalcity Prag in the Norteast from the City. Its easy to find it on Google Earth. Koordinates: 50° 7'28.94"N and 14°32'9.23"E

Theres a problem with the t72 where sometimes if your shot, the gunsight will be misaligned until you die or the game ends. Please fix this it's really annoying when it happens

the 262 is honestly the best jet in the game for its rank,, and i loveeeeee it and the fact you slapped Heimatschutzer I down to 7.7 for sim is just godlike,,,, =D but the most importaint thing,, it looks seriously good =D

i went to the blue angels naval air museum in Florida and saw a me 262 not as big as i though as a plane it was big but its relatively small compared to the other ww2 planes i saw there

Of the seven built S-92 machines and three CS-92s, one S-92.4 and one CS-92.3 were preserved. They are located in the Military Aviation Museum in Prague-Kbely.

I do not remember which variant it was but a 262 sat on the ramp at Lake Front Airport for years when I was growing up. Never did see it move.

I didn't see it fly but I have been able to see an ME 262 A/u1 start up with it's original engines

Somewhere in the usa there is one me262 in full working order and still has the paint job it had bsck in 1944 Idk if its still flying but its the only one ik about that is fully operational
