In 2021, The Straits at Whistling Straits will become the first public course to host the Ryder Cup in 30 years. One of Destination Kohler’s four Pete Dye designed courses, The Straits is sculpted along two miles of dramatically rugged, bunker-riddled Lake Michigan shoreline.
Destination Kohler overnight lodging is unavailable September 19-26, 2021.

Professionals and amateurs of all skill levels can experience a day of golf like no other on the Meadow Valleys course. Described as both subtle and devilish, it winds through meadows and charges across ravines, reflecting the natural features of the Wisconsin terrain. This championship course challenges even the experts to weigh the relative advantages of distance and accuracy, though staggered tees put much of the danger out of harm’s way for the average golfer.
The Meadow Valleys was ranked #57 in Golf Digest’s ranking of America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses for 2019/2020.

Through the years we've been blessed to be able to meet so many great people and experience so many amazing courses. Golf in the midwest is often overlooked. We have a short season, but incredible golf and unbelievable Superintendents and Grounds Crew keeping these courses in great shape. Also, happy to see you got a taste of the winds.

I grew up near Kohler, got to play Blackwolf a number of times with my high school golf team and with my dad. It's an amazing course, just gorgeous to look at.

Happy to see you guys made it out to my neck of the woods. I was lucky to grow up playing the River and Meadows. IMO, Black Wolf from the tips is the hardest course in WI. 1998 LPGA winner was +6, at 6,400 yds....says a lot.

What a great course has a very English look to it some really great shots great vid as ever ....one thing though what was that noise on hole two sounded like us Brits had come back to reclaim what is right fully ours was it really gun fire !!!!!!!

Coach, I love the Golfholics videos and the quality of the graphics. I miss seeing Marco, Paris, Alisa and many of the other Golfholics players. I don't know why but I never get that excited when Mr. Short Game is your partner, no regular banter or competitive drive. Even when Marco wasn't playing his best it was always entertaining, the same with Paris. I wouldn't be surprised if your numbers are down somewhat. I'm sure you are doing your best given the current circumstances. It can't be easy. My warmest regards.

Hazeltine in Minnesota held Ryder cup in 2016 Coach. It is public, can also pay for membership as well. Just looking out for my home courses.

I can go there for charity functions and I'm not a member. The only thing I can't do is book my own tee time, I need a member to do that.....so I guess your right it is a private club??????

I like the new element added to the tee-off. Having the hole layout and tracking it's direction is beneficial. Next idea, if you can capture the fragrance for the 4D experience. lol

Beautiful course and no joke! 475 yd into the wind par 4 and then an into the wind 240 yd par 3 where Mike has to hit driver? Would have to say that those back tees should only be played by low, single digit handicappers. It would be a LONG and frustrating day if you had to play behind mid to higher handicap players if they played from those tees.

Mike is the structural adhesive that holds this channel together. It's stronger with Marco but even without him it's one of the best golf channels on RU-vid. Mr. Shortgame is a great addition always and no matter what Paris (for me personally) is always missed when not present.
