See? This is what Blood and Honey was missing. This may be super low budget, with the killer being a well-known childhood icon to grab attention, but you can tell a lot of heart genuine care went into it, with the intention of just having fun making a movie. That's what separates the so bad it's good, from the just plain bad. I love all the nods to other Seuss books and David Thorton made for a great Grinch. And I'm glad James got to host a screening.

In the original animated Grinch film he was played by Boris Karloff who was of course famous for the playing the Frankenstein monster so it’s kind of ironic that we now have a Grinch horror movie. Both Boris Karloff and David Howard Thornton spend hours in the make up chair for their horror films.

Blood and honey was just okay The kills were decent But the monsters sucked since the only thing to resemble the winnie characters were the heads, even then they weren’t accurate enough The Mean One just had a lot of fun, while still being a cheesy low budget horror movie, but it still felt like the grinch alot, and I enjoyed it alot as well, despite how low budget it was, I’d watch it more than blood and honey

This is what I love about Dead Meat…. I have seen other commentary videos on this movie and they were definitely harsh regarding the quality of the film. With this video, James of course points out the obvious shortcomings… but brings out the family, the efforts of the cast and crew. He mentions the other accolades of the cast and crew and goes into the set designs and stunt effects. It single-handedly changed my opinion of this movie, and I love it ❤❤
