Oh hell yeah, that Nile riff is awesome! "Cast Down The Heretic" is another mean one. Another mean grunge riff is "4th of July" by Soundgarden, really makes great use of inverted power chords. Also, that's definitely Decaptated's meanest riff, but that main riff in "Last Supper" is also meaner than Nik Nocturnal's comment section 😂 (also I love this new style of video!)

Love grunge influenced by metal! So good 🤘🏾 People who don't understand what grunge is always get confused but just to clarify for those confused, it's a way of playing a certain style. Like prog, you can get Dream Theater and Opeth, two bands that are prog but nothing alike, due to their main genre choice. Dream Theater play heavy metal in a progressive way and Opeth played death metal in a progressive way. Grunge is the same. Alice in Chains play metal and alternative rock in a grunge way. They are not 100% metal.
