DenniesChild, my computer cut off...trying to share with you how my experience was like yous. When three mothers of the cogic church came after me about my platinum blonde hair. People forget to take that beam out of their eyes before removing the molt out of others!!! Like you, I had to remind them of all their crooked make-up eyeliner, and the purple hair from the rinse. When I had my hair that color, I did not make an excuse to why and what for, I am doing it The only person we have to answer to is our God! As I grew in the Lord, and wanted to get closer to Him and obey the word, plus if I were offending those I WANTED to correct it!!! I clearly never justify it doing what I felt vs. what the Bible said. When I looked more into my word in Leviticus 19:27-28, than I decided to change and follow after what the word says. DenniesChild while in my moments when I wanted to please me only I did them without trying to make them okay to do it nor going after people if I was messy my own self!!! God is the only one in my life according to His word, that has and continue to this day, to control what I do as I now live in the word!! Be Blessed!

I do the same thing in the winter. I give my toenails a break from polish, especially since I wear a lot of red polish on my toes and it tends to taint my toenails. Taking a break from the polish allows my toenails to return to their natural color.

Most people regret getting one. I used to work in long term care and boy was it hilarious to see how those tattoos shift. 🤣

Surprisingly, getting these tattoos helped cure my fear of needles. So much so, that I got my tongue pierced not that much later.

Thank you so much for this. People take one scripture and run with it. I had a Pastor I trust explain it the same way too me. And also my Pastor I had before moving from my home state he and his whole family had them and getting new ones every month. I think people should stop putting their convictions on others.

LaKrystal Singletary you can read the Old Testament or New Testament all day but if you don’t have the knowledge and the understanding of Christ it don’t mean nothing . Believe it or not is wrong to have a tattoo especially when you a child of GOD and people keep saying GOD don’t care about your body , I don’t know where your get that from Because GOD care about everything about us , if they Bible said he know how much hair that’s in our head what make you think he don’t care about our Body and that’s why the devil want us not to take care our Body because he know our body is important to Christ. @Guerline Janvier So true! Christian that think it’s okay to get tattoos are lukewarm believers in the Most High. Our bodies are the temple of the Most High and we are to treat it as such. We are to be holy/ set apart from the unbelievers. But if we disagree with someone people throw in the word judging.

I think that she got them when she was younger. She wasn't always saved. Preacher kids learn just like the rest of us and, she did say that she experienced life.
