Man she is completely wrong. "Bye Felicia" originated from the movie "Friday" where a crackhead named Felicia used to come and ask Craig (one of the main characters) for random things like if she can borrow his car or use his iron - just random stuff. One day she asked him for some money and he says "Bye Felicia" and when she refuses he says it again with gusto. Ever since then, people have been using it as a way to get rid of people in a funny way when someone does or says something outrageous.

Oh and by the way hun I did Google her... according to the web shes "Multiracial" and her father is Afro-Latin .... so shes mixed with a few things. but again none of that really matters. What shes mixed with doesnt make her better or worse if shes mixed with white, black, Indian, native america etc. Its all good and people are people. *shrugs* I think its more important to focus on what they were saying about her being a great mom. Thats a wonderful thing.

I was trying to message a Facebook group admin last Sunday night about being back in his group and then he said that I was never allowed back in the group, and then this frustrated me meaning that I was trying to negotiate with me. This is where racism spawns from. The people commenting on this about 'white people'. Why generalise? Why segregate yourselves from others? Me and most my friends love all the Fridays and we are all different skin colours but you have to focus on the few that have different upbringing to me and you and categorise all us whites together with them. I think you'll find that the people that never knew the reference of bye felicia or jumped on the twerking bandwagon as if it was brand new are just different class/culture to the rest of us and we need to stick together and take the piss out of them rather than creating racial barriers of hate between our own class.

You are addressing me as a white person and stating that all white people are to be collectively addressed as the same and white people are all racists, yet I haven't brought anybodies race into this and you have. You can't go around calling one group of people more racist than another, ironically the act of you doing that is in fact racist in itself. Prejudice has been prevalent in all groups of people since the dawn of time and the people that still today separate themselves from others 'different' from them are the problem, yourself included.

Rawfeki every culture embraces and adopts the best part of other cultures they coexist with, it's human nature. The real difference is that other cultures don't point out all of time that someone with a different skin pigmentation is taking part in 'their' culture as if they aren't allowed. Do you not think it's racist that one person can take part in a music genre but another person can't because they were born with a different skin pigment? Do you think that a culture belongs to only people with a certain pigment? This is the segregation that I'm talking of. Tashawn, I can tell by the way you express yourself in these comments that you aren't going to change how you think but you need to stop segregating yourself. You need to let go of the outdated way of thinking that you are just part of black culture. Unless you are living somewhere without tv, radio or Internet in your very own closed off community that doesn't integrate with other cultures around you(which it is obvious you aren't) then I'm afraid you are a part of western culture.
