Did I start this more than 3 years ago? Yes. Do I think anyone is going to watch this? Probably not. Do I regret waking up 2 days ago and deciding I not only wanna work on it again but I want to finish it? Absolutely not because I'm actually super proud of this and think this is one of the best videos I've ever made and all of you on here know I don't say this lightly because I find a reason to dislike 90% of my projects before I fall in love with them.
I had this concept in my head since I finished watching the show and I'm so so happy that I finally finished this (Here's to The Borgais because if I didn't start the show maybe I wouldn't have been reinspired to work on this again)! This show has got to be one of my favourite shows of all time and this family is literally my family, they broke all the laws of their time and I do not give an ounce of shit! Obviously anyone who followed me on Twitter when I was watching knew that I'd throw Cosimo and Lorenzo in front of a bus for Contessina and Clarice and I still stand by this statement even though Lorenzo is honestly one of my favourite male characters ever, he was just so beautifully written and Daniel brought all of his complexities to life with his incredible acting (hence why 50% of this was accidentally all Lorenzo)
The show in it's entirety was just out of this world, the cast was perfect, the writing was incredible, right down to the set design, graphics and visuals, the show didn't miss any mark and I still rewatch it constantly, now there are some of the family that aren't really present in the video cough Bianca but I tried to include all the family members at least once, arguably the focus went to Contessina, Cosimo, Lorenzo the Elder, Lorenzo, Giovanni and Clarice because they led the show and embodied the spirit of the family the most.
