Film 4 of a 4. The Medicine Game 2 is a journey following Miles and Lyle Thompson through their careers at University at Albany to playing Lacrosse in the professional leagues, the NLL and MLL. This is a true story of persistence, overcoming obstacles and inspiration.
Thompson Brothers Lacrosse aims to grow the game of our ancestors, by sharing the heritage, culture and history of the game. Lacrosse is more than a game, a medicine game that can heal communities.

You should check out any local live games! It’s an amazing sport to watch. Tv or videos doesn’t do it justice.

I’ve recently learned the cultural significance of the traditional wood lacrosse stick. I’ve tried to understand lacrosse on an Indigenous level and this is my conclusion at this time. As an older pale skinned male, I offer this analysis, for those that know, no explanation is required, for those that don’t know, no explanation is possible. It is my responsibility to respect and honour those that do know. To be a fellow human being, being human.
