27:06 I really feel Goji Center really should’ve taken into account that if the Mosasaur did in fact have whale DNA in its genetic makeup, then it’s highly plausible that the Mosasaur had some form of echolocation or whale sonar. In the series Jurassic Fight Club, the episode where Megalodon fought another deep sea giant known as Brygmophyseter: a species of prehistoric Sperm Whale slightly smaller than modern Sperm Whale but with a nastier set of teeth and a bad attitude, it was theorized that these whales could use their sonar, focusing it into a tighter beam to disrupt the shark’s senses and disorient it.
Trust me, you do not want to take *anything* that comes from Jurassic Fight Club as factual. Literally even the first Jurassic Park film is better when it comes to accuracy.
@@peternagy6847 I’m not really but they use just as much facts in JFC as Goji Center uses in their videos and besides, I wasn’t using facts from JFC, I was using them as a good example of real life whale behaviors as some modern whale species use the same hunting methods as their prehistoric cousins. If they used the bigger Meg and actual InGen size Mosa, it would be closer, but the Mosa would be slower due to it being much larger than the meg. Goji Center stated at the start that they weren't gonna use the biggest Mosa JW showed bc it would be unfair.
Not how gills work, since the mosa bit into the gills, that alone would suffocate the shark since its such a big creature that NEEDS that oxygen, it can't hold its breath or slow its breathing down like a human can, if it could, it would move ALOT slower and the bite would not be as bad, it would also grow tired and dreary due to lack of oxygen to its brain, also mosa could still move without its fins, the fins r like the wheel to a car, while the engine is its tail, the tail allow it to move and since it still had a few fins left, it would still move quite fast and still out maneuver the meg, the fins most control direction and help a little with speed
Goji really set up a bunch of facts that basically said "yeah, the Mosa had more a chance of winning" and then completely ignored those factors in the actual fight. Like why would the intelligent Mosa commit to a full charge and try to bite the Meg's snout? And why would the Mosa stop biting down on the literal best weak point that it had and not cripple the Meg like they pointed out that it could do? Goji really flunked on this one in the battle, it pissed me off tbh. I was fine with Mosa losing, but the battle was so dumb in execution.
Megalodon Vs Mosasaurus Is a awesome fight and goji center is finally bringing back battle face off battles so we're gonna expect lots of new battles from different monsters and titans
I'm so glad that I was on Team Meg, I was there for the premiere and I was literally getting nervous every time the Mosa proved to be not a push over😂😂😂
Not tryna debate. Just speculating. Riot came to the conclusion that this one was won because of armor, but i personally believe it was expierence. The mosa never phased a creature that could compete with it and it messed up multiple times because of that. The first attack that landed was proof of that because when it realized it couldnt bite through it instead rammed it and gave it an opportunity to counterattack. Had the mosa not rammed it theres no way the meg could have turned to get that bite. Then it also tries running away, but if it had faced other creatures of its size, it probably would have come to the conclusion that that just leaves it open for attacks and such. It also learns to go for the gills fairly quickly so if it had more experience and recognized its own weaknesses, it would have been able to draw the fight out longer and go for constant, more effective attacks against the gills everytime the meg tries to attack it.
There're also the meg's fins. If the mosa attacked the fins, rather than just the base of the tail, it could've succeeded in severely damaging or even ripping them off, to the point that the meg couldn't swim properly and therefore rendered unable to breath. This would've been made easier if the mosa engaged in a death roll, which it may have been capable of doing given the appearance of it having crocodilian DNA.
18:37 Just for comparison the fastest a human was ever able to swim was only 8.8 MPH and that was only for a few milliseconds before they had to slow down
the fact the Meg didn't pull a standard breach maneuver from below when it noticed the Mosasaur or retreated into the darker water below is disappointing, could have finish the fight much earlier.
Fun fact: 3 megs where shown in the first meg moive (I’ll let you try find that third meg it’s at the start of the moive) and the meg that ate the rex is a diff meg from the ones in the moive so like 4? 5 megs in second?
Bruh the Meg had plot armor in the animation the mosa bit onto him for a perfect kill and then just let go then he randomly got slower and did less and also he’s not dumb enough bite the inside of the megs mouth
Idk, don't agree with the end result 100%. Mosasaurus could've turned Meg upside down to make it lose orientation (same Orcas do with Great Whites). Like that it could've paralyzed the shark, make it motionless and drown it. I feel like not enough was given to intelligence but that might just be me.
I would actually consider the auxiliary weaponry a draw because the meg is way heavier therefore will have way more kinetic energy to be delivered into impact energy so really it is 1/2 mass • acceleration =velocity which would have more of an effect on ramming force than surface area speed and acceleration also the wider snout of the meg would help to distribute the same force on a larger surface area it's like comparing the impact force of a war hammer to that of a normal hammer with a nail welded onto it
That bite to the skull would have crushed the skull given the fact that the mosasaurs skull was closer to the back of the jaw meaning it would have to endure 50,000 pounds per square inch which would crush any animals skull
I would say that the mosasaurus would one shot the meg if he rammed his gills with a closed mouth also the mosa is a bit like a crocodile so i believe he could do a death roll
I'd say there equal bc if mosa targeted the fins first the meg would have lesser speed and mosa could ambush it at maximum speed and ram it roughly damaging the meg and possibly killing it
Although this topic meg vs mosa has been done to death the meg stomps it's just better at what it does . Even tho they never met bc of the million year time gap

I have not seen the meg 2 yet, but I new it was going to be inaccurate when I saw a meg eat a T-rex in the trailer. The T-Rex and meg never lived during the same time.
They basically reskined the animal face off scenario of great white vs saltwater crocodile. What's next woolly mammoth vs woolly rhinoceros? Cave Lion vs Sabretooth Tiger? Or perhaps even Titanoboa vs Smilodon?
The fastest human swimmers reach only 5 to 6 mph, and most people can't even *run* close to 20 miles. Trying to outswim these creatures would be like trying to outrun a car on a highway, probably worse.
All I'm seeing is shark fans animating a mosasaurus fight to let the shark win. They had to shrink down the mosa godzilla vs. king kong style just to give the shark a fighting chance.
You wanna use the full inaccurate size of jw Mosa? 30 meters? Heck lets give movie data books so 47 meters. fine Let meg2 second Meg then which was 52 meters long and much more robust then even irl megs and mf made a T rex look lBbitelike a bite-sized. In fully inaccurate sizes both were pritty close as well but Meg would be even longer than Mosa then If we use oversized versions.
@@s.m.farzana607252 meters is not possible, Mosasaurus was calculated to be around 85 meters long in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, but was shrunken down to 55 meters in Dominion. Strange
i feel like the mosa could of ran away by the way im not saying it would win but i feel like the meg when it bit on the mosa was kinda bigger then it showed when they were showing what they have
a real world meg would be too slow to beat the mosasaurus, but the movie meg would easily take this with it's crushing bite force and increadible speed.
