He was one of the later born babes. Reddy is probably the most effective weaning mom, other than maybe gypsy. Unlike gypsy, Reddy won't cut em off early, but when it's time, that's it. Dipidy probably has another month. Maybe? He's still a bit smaller than the rest. Like Mr AM mentioned, the whole lockdown thing really screwed all the monkeys up.
@@sneaker5732 my mom had one eyebrow that she could raise up and that’s all she needed to do, she could shoot that at me across the room and I would sit down and I was afraid to breathe.🤣
@@sneaker5732 I really did. We lost her a year ago and it still weighs heavy on my heart. I can’t tell you how many times I still reach for the phone to call her, we talked every day.
Trinny always looks extremely concerned and worried about things her liltle face pops up at the rite time some times to be looking like that to lols gourgeous as she is
UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL POST: We now know that Riy has left us. She will be missed very much. RIP Baby Riy 💔 Of course Riy keeps trying. And I don’t think it’s because of others still able to nurse. She keeps trying because her mom ends up letting Riy have her way. Mom needs to say No and mean it.

lol I do hate whiny humans, but I really don't see Riy as whiny. Riy definitely is a very verbal macaque. I also don't see Riy's verbal behavior similar to Scooby's. Sally stopped nursing and grooming Scooby all at once which was very traumatizing to Scooby. Dimpy still grooms and occasionally allows Riy to nurse. Eventually, Riy will adjust like all the whiny (verbal) macaques before her. Moreover, Riy is female. Girls stay with their mom and becomes baby obsessed whereas boys spend more and more time with the other boys wrestling, fighting and ultimately modeling their behavior after the older males. Scooby was last seen all alone trying to be a scout at ~ 1 year old. He didn't seem to have a male role model who would teach him about the dangers and/or provide needed protection. An example of this role modeling I'm talking about is Will with Luke and Stewie. Another example is Barry with Tinky and Beny. If you look around, you will see the little boys with older males whereas the little girls remain with their mom. Scooby was probably killed by another troop member or a snake. He was just way too young to be all alone and so vocal. Of course, you might be right. Time will tell. For me, Riy is just so darn cute. I hope she stays safe.
Hope riy doesn't turn into another Scooby, she is such a pretty girl that she will have some beautiful babies. Hope she can learn to adjust. We would all miss her like we miss poor little scooby
I have 2 questions....Are these monkeys house monkeys that were dumped back in the wild?? And if they pick lice off each other i was wondering how it became so abundant with all the monkeys like where did it come from. And when people walk thru do t thet get it?? Since they jump??
no, these are wild monkeys in Hong Kong. The majority ( 99.9% ) of monkey channels you see on RU-vid or other social platforms like Facebook are from Cambodia or Vietnam where monkeys ( seen as pests ) are staged to give you content.
Remember Deenly. She was impossible during weaning season last year. Then came Riy and Dipidy. Deenly then became the responsible super babysitter. It's just part of the process. Girls become infatuated with babies whereas boys hang out together and wrestle.
Poor moms can’t keep Up with the babies demand . They have to learn to forage. Seems like at 1:35 she was not sucking and then at 1:40 she was and mom kicked her off . She can’t control herself and mom doesn’t bite that hard.
Next to watching all the babies play together, weaning time is such an enjoyment to watch. They are so stubborn, get nipped by mom several times yet they go right back and get in trouble again. ♥️🐒🐒♥️
I’ve noticed that sometimes the nipples get really stretched, but I think they get tough and it don’t hurt. I think if they got bit it would really hurt.
OMG...these mommas have to be related to Stretch Armstrong...makes me hurt when I see how far these babies stretch their mommas teats 😧 How many of you want to do what i want to do...reach through the screen and remove the eye boogers from these babies eyes 😂
