The real issues -Was there an open tender for importing commodities -What criteria did one have to meet to be an importer - Mary Wambui a KK supporter also holds a govt position won 4 bids with no known history of being an importer and this can be seen as a conflict of interest and rewarding political friends. -Why can't KNTC import commodities directly instead of hiring outside agents thus make it cheaper to import the commodities. -Did importers pay taxes
