The menorah of the Tabernacle and the Israelite Temple a vibrant symbol for the religion and history of Judaism. It also can symbolize that God is our source of light and life. But to understand the beauty of this symbol, we have to understand what it looked like and how it functioned.

I see it as a symbol of Him and the 3 kingdoms of glory. Him being the center, the two nearest the center the Celestial kingdom, and so on and so forth with the terrestrial and telestial. His salvation stretches all these kingdoms.

Yep. Same as David below. Tree of life seems to represent Heavenly Mother(s). The tree of life in Revelations bears fruit ( fruit of the womb, hello, all the symbolism linking seeds and fruit to the gospel) Also, in Nephi's vision of the tree of life, it goes from seeing the tree of life, then immediately, he is shown Mary holding baby Jesus. Seems so say- here is the Spiritual mother of the Lamb of God, then the physical Mother.

Funnily enough I tend to see the menorah as a representation of Heavenly Mother (Tree of life) and one of the keys to the creation process where she sheds her fruit each month. ( I wouldn't be surprised to see the 12 sons of Israel born on each month of the Hebrew calendar) Such that Jesus Christ leads us back to our Heavenly Parents like a big brother through the covenant Path.

Scriptures seem to agree with this. Revelation Chapter 22 The Saints will reign in celestial splendor-Christ will come, and men will be judged-Blessed are they who keep His commandments. 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

I tend to see the Menorah and the Table of the Shewbread as the great tabernacle symbols of men and women, of Adam and Eve. This seems to makes sense to me based off of their position in the Holy Place as compared to how things are organized in the temple today. They are both symbols of the individual injunctions given to Adam and Eve when they left the garden of Eden. The Menorah represents Eve and the women of Israel and their special role in bearing children. Eve takes into her body these little flames that represent the spirits of Gods children and she clothes them with an earthy body, hence the symbol of the almond-a little flame shaped fruit that is white on the inside and earthy brown on the outside. The Menorah has seven branches to call to mind the seven creative periods and highlight Eve’s creative role. The Table and the shewbread represent Adam and the men of Israel. The Table has 12 loaves of bread, symbols of the bread to be eaten out of the sweat of the faces of the men of Israel. The Hebrew word for the shewbread literally means “bread of faces”. This is how I see these symbols. I don’t know if I’m right, but it makes sense and feels right to me. I’m sure there are other layers of symbolism that can be overlaid on top of these items.

Plus, in the Ark of the Covenant there were three items: the stone tablets, Aaron’s rod, and the Jar of Manna. Aaron’s rod was an almond branch that miraculously bloomed. And the manna is a heavenly bread. And so, the almond tree and the bread are made heavenly and brought back into the presence of God by learning obedience to the law and being covered by the Atonement (Day of Atonement ritual).

Also also, seeking wisdom ( and probably the desire for children) is why Eve partook of the fruit. Wisdom is almost always tied with female in scripture.

And/or the 7 lights can symbolize the primary, main stem being the priesthood holder, and his wives on either side. ( See Isaiah 3-4) The combination of Father and wives together could also signify the Tree of Life. Priesthood provides Earths and women people them. Thus making a perennial tree that bears fruit endlessly.

Love the video but you missed a key piece. The ancient menorah had 3 legs according to the description in the Torah and when looking at ancient images of the menorah. This is key as there were exactly 49 elements that made up the menorah. 7 x 7.

Did the Tabernacle of Moses also have reflective surfaces to reflect the light of those 7 lamps on the wall behind and ceiling above?

I respect that the menorah represents the Tree of Life but wasn’t that considered a pomegranate tree and not an almond tree?

You also didn’t mention that the menorah had to be hammered from 1 talon of gold. It could not be cast.

And? It’s a current style in women’s clothing. There’s no crazy symbolism, only a representation of rank or heraldry.
