I've noticed there's a ton of actor overlap between shows similar to this one like Criminal Minds, SVU, NCIS, etc. It's fun to try to remember where I recognize a side character from.

Watching Monk, back in the day, you could often tell who the killer was because it was someone who got a lot of work in these sort of shows and was thus far more recognisable.

@@twrampage lucky for us, not always, and often it wasn't like this. We could see an actor playing a murderer or somebody bad in general in one show and then in the other they are just a very nice person or maybe just some family member to a victim or whatever.

You should check out the C.S.I’s for folks who showed up in them. They’ve had the likes of Jeremy Renner, Michael B. Jordan, Chris Pine and Idris Elba in them.

A lot derive cases on real life stuff so it's common to get overlaps. BUT I absolutely love seeing chars from other shows come. Prob my fav :s

Gosh I love Elementary, I regret unfollowing this series towards S3 back when it was airing because I got too obsessed with The Mentalist. But I caught up with the show in 2022 and man, I gained new appreciation for the show. Best Partnership portrayal on tv ever! TM and TE although not perfect, have become my comfort shows and they are underrated gems.

Most people go by Jisbon as a ship name, although I'm not a fan of said ship (the name is alright tho xD) I believe the order from oldest to newest would be: Bones - The Mentalist - Castle Criminal Minds is also around the same time as Bones But all of this is based on when they started, not when they finished so I can understand the confusion

Ar first I thought you meant which came first on the RU-vid channel and I was like nooooo 😆 when you said Castle first (or before Mentalist). But then I realized you actually meant which show started first. Didn't realize Mentalist and Castle started only a year apart.

If you like these crime dramas with a certain focus, like this has on psychology and mental tricks, then maybe 'Deception' could be something for you to try. It only has one season with 13 episodes. the other one i recently watched and really liked was 'prodigal son'. it starres michael sheen and has a cool subplot besides the crime solving.

Have you ever considered watching Lucifer? To me, it is the best tv series out there. Excellent writing, fabulous cast, very compelling. It took me one episode to fall in love with it😊😊
