It has a lot of potential, even for utility and not just sheer destructive power. I think the reason why it's underrated, is simply because Ace didn't use it well.

Fun fact: I live in NC and one year I went to PA for a marching band competition. there was a bit at the end where we had to to talk to the other bands after saying "nice to meet y'all" these girls went off on how silly it was that I said "y'all". Sooo, I think Akainu knew his fruit was weaker than Ace's. But since Akainu had awakened his and Ace hadn't he said that for two reasons; 1. To intimidate Ace and get in his head. 2. Incase someone other than the Marines got the fruit after he died they would think Akainu is just naturally stronger and not become as big a threat as Ace. Just what I always thought.

@@bananaboi90061 this is my head cannon so you don't have to agree but if he survived I believe ace will be out for revenge but Rayleigh marco would stop him as his arrogance what got him in to that situation and got whitebeard killed so they wouldn't let him go and after getting stomped by akainu and black beard who got way stronger and failing to save his family he will resolve to train with luffy 2 I think he will learn not only swordsman ship but how to use his fruit in better and more creative ways because as stated in the wiki ace knows haki already so while over the two years I see him improving his haki but It wouldn't take as much as luffy and the reason he learns how to use a sword is because his over depends on his fruit not his actual strength which was his downfall against blackbeard P.S also ace not new to blades because of the knife on his pants

So fire is different colors depending on the elements/chemicals that are burning, like green and purple, so I think when Ace uses firefly he’s actually making fire out of a different element and one that is very combustible, so when he ignites it there is a larger amount of fire than one would assume based on the size of the fuel

I would argue that the Christmas Carol of the Navy would break down like this: Ghost of Admirals Past: Aokiji (Former Admiral) Ghost of Admirals Present: Fuitora (The current Admiral we see the most of) Ghost of Admirals Future: Ryokugyu (Admiral we have yet to see) Scrooge: Akainu Jacob Marley (Former business partner and closest thing Scrooge had to a friend): Kizaru (Admiral who has worked alongside Akainu the longest)

St Elmo's Fire is an actual thing, not just some random movie. It's a blue/green glow that appears around tall, narrow objects (most notably the upper masts and spars of sailing ships) during electrical storms.

Really wish american people would go through the effort to include normal standards like celcius and the metric system, seeing as they seem to be the only country hellbend on using those messed up values.. I can KINDA live with them pronouncing the dates retardedly, but I have no idea what -5F feels like without googling it... Edit: For other that were wondering; -5 fahrenheit = ~negative 21 celcius acording to google...
