Had to take my ML350 in for a recall a couple days ago, and this was my loaner. It was black on black, and absolutely beautiful. For anyone who buys one of these cars, it will put a huge smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel. The twin turbo does not disappoint either.
This is one hell of a package of inclusions. The bullseye vehicle in terms of luxury, power, driving fun and comfort. Without kids and the need for the SUV, I’m in for the Coupé. Great review and thank you for the entertaining and informative 30 mins of review 👍🏻
Great informative review on the beautifully refined GLC 43 AMG. I’m new to your channel, and I very much appreciated your refreshing approach to your review style. As for this vehicle, I’m a BMW fan, but I class this GLC 43 as the “best of class” in the mid size suv range. BMW and Audi simply don’t offer an suv that matches the beauty, refinement, engine & transmission of this Mercedes. Keep up your high standards, as I’m a subscriber now. Shame Australia
I think it won't let you hit redline because you put it in "manual mode" using the paddle shifters instead of using the button on the center console with the gear icon and the M lettering. Somehow different I believe
Am caught between a 43 and a 63 but your review makes me feel the 43 is a far more usable car. Here in the UK, our roads are mostly like medieval cart tracks so an SUV is becoming essential. I test drove a new Porsche C4S last week, a lot of power but it really unusable here mainly due to road surface. Great for driving in France bit not the UK, so for me the 43 in Coupe form seems the car to switch to. A great review that was a deciding factor for me. Thanks.
I have the GLC AMG 43. The AMG 63 was unnecessary for me, I don’t like the seats in the 63 (stiff racing seats). Comfort mode to when I engage my Sport modes…. GOODBYE lol…. So I would take my 43 off road, but not a 63 if I got it. The 43 is cheaper probably by 15k so there’s that as well. I saw an EQS 580 I would go to if I ever had to go electric.
Very good review video. Thank you. What is your opinion of the noise level and comfort for interstate highway driving? I like the idea of having sportiness when desired, but I don't want the interior to be so loud that my wife and I can't enjoy conversation and the sound system while cruising on the highway.
That definitely helps, but it's still not a real launch control like on a lot of the other AMG models. I wouldn't do a left foot braked launch in this car too often personally.
As an owner it sounds good. The sound is high quality, but my only problem is the base system they use doesn’t feel as strong as I’d like. Overall I’d give it an 8/10
