I so appreciate this! I have been having so many things having to do with this show up in my day! Yesterday I kept staring at the transformer on the poll in the neighbors yard and questioning it! Lol Then a man who has a ton of old pictures of the town I grew up in posted the "original " building located at the dam. My father said he didn't understand why they tore half of it down. I am finding so many synchronicities as of lately!
I worked on salvage/demolition of a power station 30 yrs ago and pocketed a glass sealed tube half full of quicksilver/mercury with a wire strap/cable coming out of one end.. it was about 7 inch ...I always wondered what it was exactly I thought a fuse or switch but seeing this it may have been a small version of a rectifier maybe?
