@AnimeGamer X I did too, but how everyone else did it when the vault was bugged sorta, didn't work for me. I tried them all. In the end, I had to use Athena's Dash and a stamina potion moments after just to give me more stamina to make it. I did that twice. Once after breaking the boxes, and once after going through the hole. I ran out of time with just two platforms to go, so Athena's Dash was used a third time.
I completely second the main comment in this thread. It single-handedly highlighted all this games biggest flaws and lowered my appreciation for this game.
I spent my whole weekend doing this I finally got down to the last third I spent about 10 hours of relentless and utterly boring determination just on the last part just to quit because it is impossible after the patch WTF how is anyone going to do it I even spent all of my stamina potions and it is not like I am some newbie I had my stamina nearly maxed plus equipment that helps PS I am doing it on a Nintendo switch Edit: I am very good on a switch I’ve put in thousands of hours in games on it I know what I’m doing
@@FPVShogun Have your stamina completely maxed out. If it isn't all twelve, then that is why you struggled. Also have the Glide Boost skill, especially for the last part if you don't have Athena's Dash and Ares' Wrath. I admit I tried to give up, but in the end after many attempts I made it. PS: I also play it on Switch. EDIT: Also the Tartaros Armour will be helpful. It reduces Stamina consumption when you wear them in the Vaults.
Shadow Weaver Due to poorly implemented controls. It's not the player's fault oftentimes in this game. Other things like how the target reticle bounces when facing multiple enemies, the odd basic default layout of the control scheme, among many other odd choices make the game a very frustrating experience. I can't help but feel it could have been so much better but being Ubisoft I shouldn't be surprised. I think there is a reason Ubisoft simply cannot craft puzzles in the same quality as Nintendo. Still a fun game. Just wish it wasn't so hair raising sometimes. That isn't in the good way.

For anyone wondering why breaking the boxes didn’t work (playing on switch) the last update fixed this so it doesn’t work anymore. After about 50 times, I researched and found others commenting. Ugh
Could not agree more. Spent over an hour and a half and never completed this vault. Really burned me out on this game. My advice to people playing and enjoying this game... don’t play this vault. It will make you want to quit and the rewards truly are not worth it. The armor is meh and not worth the grind.
This should be #1 comment. Leave the vault and put it in story mode difficulty. Literally gives you like an extra 30 seconds. Ive been playing on hard and the combat is still easy but story mode gives you so much extra time.
I was watching this video and I couldn't believe how the doors remain open for so long, even if the dude was slower than me. I figured that it must be related to difficulty, I played on Nightmare all the time, no wonder every timed puzzle feels literally impossible
I have made it even in hard and without that cheese in normal that the pillars doesn't go down after the time. You just have to stack the boxes high. Very high. And of course a full upgraded stamina bar.
that trick to make the platforms rise after breaking the box has been patched out. what I did however, is simply build a staircase out of the mini boxes. It was 6 high at the end, and I just glided and used one are's wrath on the way there, popped an energy potion, then did three when I hit the platform with the treasure. From there you can glide to the end in a similar way.
You can't make it time to the chests in hard mode. You have to stack the boxes very high and make it over to the Epic Chest with triple Ares Wrath + Stamina Potion.
As much as I loathe the vaults in this game, I found this one of the easiest. When you reach the section with the breakable crates, break the two large ones. This will raise the columns on the right. Jump to the platform where you choose to go left or right, and go right. Jump to the second column, then fly around the left side of the brick wall rather than through the hole. You'll have to use Ares Wrath to get on the first column on the other side but you'll have lots of time to reach the chest. After opening the chest, climb the steps, face the exit point, double jump and fly to the far platform, avoiding the corruption. Again you'll have to use Ares Wrath near the platform but you'll avoid a LOT of frustration.
For anyone having trouble with the hidden chest, right after pushing the lever, make two dashes consecutively instead of sprinting. This will save stamina. Break the two boxes with the jumping axe attack and sprint and fly quickly to the other end. Here a neat trick to avoid the boxes is to go to the other side once and use herakles' strength on the boxes that are blocking your way and throw them out. Now you'll have a clean path to run through. After making it to the other side, jump on the plat forms and on the last one, perform a double jump and then an ares' wrath. Quickly glide boost to the final plat forms and jump into your destination Abilities that's a must have for this : Ares' wrath Glide boost Herakles strength (you'll have this anyway) Good luck and I know you can do this! I got it down in my 5-6th attempt, albeit I wasted a lot of stamina potions :P
Just tried this 5 times. At the part going right (after smashing the second big crate), at the last pillar, I don't use any of the small crates. I doubled jumped, then used the Ares Wrath to gain extra height and immediately deployed my wings to fly through the whole, used the flight dash too reach the pillar. Pulling those smalls crates and stacking them takes time and gives stress I noticed. Same goes with flying after the chest. Use Ares Wrath too gain extra height (don't forget to deploy your wings) and use a stamina potion just in case, too reach the end
In my opinion they should have kept the speed run vaults separate from the vaults out in the map or at least give you more time in the default vault and then if you want more challenge just take the weekly speed run challenge.
I agree this is a terrible vault. I love the game but it's still very buggy. It quits for no reason. The sound cuts out constantly. The only way I got through the last section of this vault (on the Switch) was to break (or otherwise get rid of) all the small boxes. I jumped into the void. When I restarted, I broke the plate switch box and placed a clone and returned to the lever. I pulled the lever again and the clone caused the box to fall off. Then I pelted down the right hand path, used 2 Ares's Wrath to get me through the hole in the wall. I flew towards the chest, recharged my stamina twice to use two more Ares's Wraths and just made it to the platform. I opened the chest and then went up the stairs. I used 2 Ares's Wrath (this may have been overkill) to fly to the exit, avoiding the gas. This was only possible because I had maximum stamina. I hate this vault.
The first 2, if you can make it the ledge. When the door, timer ends. You use Are's Wrath to get over the doors. The last part, I tried wedging empty boxes between the timer switch. The switch passes right through the boxes. If you can make the platform to the armor. You can fly/float toward the Zeus Lighting and Armor. It took me many tries, days to rebuild potions and finish this.
Thanks a bunch! I spent 45 minutes on the timed version on hard mode for my weekly challenge. When I saw it again all I could do was groan. The trick in the last area is a lifesaver. I never would have gotten the chest without you.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who was stumped by this. I've had a few vaults that gave me trouble but most of the puzzles in this game can be figured out eventually but this one had me. I spent two days straight doing this fault again and again and again and again. I must have done it a hundred times. I hate watching videos to help me solve a puzzle because the puzzle is the game and the challenge but I had to look this one up in the answer is something I don't know how long it would have taken me to figure out to try. They say this one's a hard one it definitely has one of the hardest to get to and one of the hardest to solve. It's not even a mind Bender like some of the puzzles is just you really got to think outside the box LOL no pun intended
For the chest I used Ares's Wrath to get the height to get through the hole, then I used a Stamina Potion while flying to the next platform, and after jumping off the second platform I used Athena's Dash twice to get to the chest. It requires a lot of stamina and preferably having your Stamina Potions fully upgraded but it made it way easier for me.
Yea, I also tried that, stupid character just NEVER gets through the hole after it. Well, once, then it didn't stop running when I did and ran over the edge of the 2. platform. also refused to regen stamina. so yea... tried a dozen times again...
This video is still helpful. Looking at the comments, you can see that this way of completion has been removed and the vault is the worst thing about this game. So just do yourself a favor, get some cheat engine and get unlimited stamina. The only way is excessive use of Athena's Dash and Ares' Wrath. For console users: I feel you. Try many stamina potions I guess.
After wanting to give up on this game entirely because of this ONE vault, I finally beat it. Here’s what worked: On the third level, I broke all of the small boxes beforehand, so they didn’t slow me down. I did NOT use all my stamina in getting to the first steps, but I did hurry there. This is important because if you have full stamina, you do not need the second set of rising/falling steps...so it doesn’t matter if they fall. You do need all your stamina. So I double jumped each step on the first flight, then from last step before the hole in the wall: Potion for full stamina Double jump Ares wrath Speed fly, As soon as possible use another stamina potion Aries wrath up And speed fly to the platform. I landed with stamina to spare. Couldn’t believe it! It is possible. With doing this it was actually quite easy! I’m not very good at gaming, and I wanted to snap my switch in half from this vault. Lol so if I can do it- you can do it!! Good luck!! 🍀 PS I did have the Armor of Bright Divinity on, with a +110% charging speed with Godly Powers. I’m not sure that it helped, because I wasn’t having my stamina charge at any point- but I thought it worth a mention.
If anyone is getting stuck on the last part due to pillars staying lowered, I found a solution. You need Phosphor’s Clone ability, place one on the pressure switch, run back to the lever, when you pull the lever the second box will either fall over or get close to falling, it will “reset” the switch and the pillars will raise again.
Well. They made sure no one can cheese the vault with the updates I assume. None of the ways others did this vault worked for me. So I managed it the speedrun way. If you use a stamina potion right after using Athena's Dash to break the crates in the third section, you can do it with full stamina and maybe a second stamina potion as you use Athena's Dash through the hole in the wall. I used Athena's Dash a third time when the time limit ran out after making it to the platform before the two at the end to get that chest. It also helps when you have the glide boost skill.

On Nightmare difficulty you need three rows of stamina bar to catch up with the shorter time. Use double jump to glide boost and a couple of ares wrath and athena dash to speed up the velocity and break the obstacle box
I only made it through by some extreme luck, fluke or glitch. Idk it was a miracle after spending well over an hour on it. Never again will I even attempt this Vault. Lol
I managed to cheese that door... discovered by accident. I got to the door, but it closed, so I jumped up to it, used the godly spears power to jump up to the next ledge, waited for my stamina to come back, then speared again and flew over the top. Frustration breeds innovation.
This vault is whack as hell. Literally made me take a break from this game for a month. Came back to it tonight and thought I’d try again.. taking another break.
I cheesed the last section. If you’re in the area where the epic chest is, go up to the end of the ramp and glide across and land on the edge of the door. Then use Ares’ Wrath 3-4 times to get over the door and “voila” done. Edit: just watched the last part of the video and didn’t realize you could just glide to the right. I thought that whole area was corrupted.
the only way i could do this vault was by setting the difficulty to story b4 entering, it increases the amount of time u get after pulling the switch by a good chunk, u dont need to move those small boxes to the last lift just double jump then wrath then glide
@@elinevanbiervliet6914 I managed to stack 6 of the small boxes at the edge of the platform and double jump, boost glide, Ares wrath, boost glide, Ares wrath twice and make the side chest from there. Some have done 3 boxes but that didn't work for me
4:34 u have to do exactly like this for it to work. The box is pressing on a tile below. Wait for the timer to end so you can destroy the box to unpress the tile (do not step on the tile again). 6:58 I think it is on purpose because u can't out run the timer.
I think that this Vault is just buggy in general. I break the box that’s on the pressure plate and the other platforms still stay up and nothing changes 🥴
@@toxichorg I read that they patched out the pillars staying up. Though then they introduced a new bug that keeps the pillars down completely, breaking crate or not, if you die once in the third leg of the vault. You have to restart the vault for it to work again. I managed to finish it today after what felt like a hundred attempts. My fingers hurt from contorting them to hit the correct buttons to drink the stamina potions in order to be able to sprint, double jump, do Ares' wrath, glide and double jump some more.
@@glennjanot8128 if you put your clone on the pressure plate the box will fall down and reactivate the correct pillars to rise up again.. No need to restart but still feels buggy
3:05 Fuck that hole. By far the hardest part of the entire fucking vault. Or at least I assume so, since its been an hour and I still cant get through that FUCKING HOLE.
I found out a trick to make it easier to get that damn chest. Break the big boxes and put your clone or one of the small boxes on the pressure plate, then go back and wait till its time over and pull lever. Now it should instantly start the path for the chest, you don't need to stop to break boxes, so you get more time to make the run.
This doesn't work in mine. The switch to trigger the alternate route to the treasure only works once when I'm in the vault, and it's connected to the timer. If I fail, in order to have another chance I have to leave the vault and redo the entire thing.
Since this video there has been a patch which has removed the ability to trick the game into keeping the pillers up forever. The trick around this is of 2 things.. A. do it later when you have atleast 2 full lines of stamina. or B. reduce game difficulty to Story mode and get double the time you get with normal. I tried this over and over and since that patch it's impossible; thought fuck it lets lower the difficulty to story just for this one dungeon.
Okay guys if you want a easy way to get the chest just build a scary tower if boxes at the end of the platform and then do a tripe jump with the ares power. Then glide across pop two potions and do another ares jump and you've made it. But I think you'll need quite a fee stamina bats to do it
4:53 - is this bug? When I destroy crate nothing happens. Timer has to still be on and crate destroyed for pillars to box to appear. But you did it after timer ends?!
TLDR: Save yourself the trouble and play this vault on Story difficulty. Then you can do what this guy is doing (stamina lasts longer). The vault was very poorly designed around higher difficulty, as there simply isn't enough time to get to the bonus chest. I believe it is actually impossible to reach it without lowering the difficulty (horrible design). I completed all vaults in the game up to this point, saved this one for last until I got 12 stamina bars (max), and was still out of stamina upon getting through the hole in the wall (only halfway!!!!). On hard, there is not enough time to even get one crate over onto those platforms.
Thanks a bunch for the video! I tried to replicate what you did here, but I guess they have patched it since then. The platforms kept on disappearing again even when I tried to do exactly as you did here (4:20 minute mark into the video). A small tip here is that you do not actually need to jump/fly through the hole and platform that section ((5:55 - 6:00 minute mark;) you would need more than 6 stamina bars, though. I had 12 at this point). If you have 10-12 stamina bars try instead and stabilize 7 small boxes (like you are doing here (5:05 minute mark)) then you can just fly left and skip all of the platforming, landing directly with access to the chest. Hope it makes sense, thanks for the video anyway :D
This way does not work anymore. Even breaking the boxes after the door closes does not bring the platforms back up. At this point I'm still trying to complete it, but really struggling
Can you believe I had this shit as a weekly challenge where you had to run through this with no godly powers was playing on hard too was happy when I got the gold medal then now I had to see this stupid ass vault again but with no timer
This vault was easy! Cleared first try! All you have to do is have completely maxed stats, abilities and change the game difficulty to story so the timer isn't idiotically short./end sarcasm I've heard nightmare stories about this vault and was just like "Instant nope. Leave vault, change difficulty to story, not have to deal with the bullsh** that is the lever timers in this vault." Serious advice for anyone who happens to read this comment-change the game difficulty to story and just avoid a huge amount of the frustration of the stupid short lever timers in this vault. Similar advice for any other puzzles they probably didn't playtest with the stupidly short timers on hard/nightmare. Change to story difficulty, beat the puzzle(s), save and then change the difficulty back to what you were playing before
For anyone who played this on PC, just use trainer for unlimited stamina and resource, after you unlock Athena Shield and Ares wrath, just use it again and again, for ascend in mid air use Ares wrath, for moving forward just use Athena Dash again and again, it Will work, trust me
For those stuck on this vault in future. You need all twelve stamina chunks, Athena's Dash and Ares' Wrath to get through it with minimal effort and no wasting of seconds while waiting for stamina to refill naturally. The third section to the chest on the right can be done using three stamina potions. Best time to refill is after you use Athena's Dash.
I decided to play one more vault before going to bed cause vaults are fun... right? Boy was I wrong. Pretty sure I'm gonna have nightmares with this vault now.
You won't believe it but I just had the exact same thing. I quit and will retry tomorrow cause I've been stuck at the chest for over an hour and it's driving me insane. This trick doesn't even work. One the switch turns off, the platforms don't move even if you break the boxes so I'm just gonna build some massive box tower tomorrow and double jump to the chest. Fml.
Mine doesn't do that. When I want to get the chest, and the timer runs out, breaking the boxes don't make the platforms go up, they stay down, I need to activate the timer to have them come up.
Yeah I had all of those problems so I found a different solution. Double jumped + ares power at the edge of the platform, in the air stamina potion, then flying dash until I reached the chest platform, another potion at the chest platform, area's power twice and that did the trick
I went there with 7 chunks and it said I didn’t have enough stamina. You go in with 6 and do it just fine. Now I’m here with 10 chunks and barely made it to the end with only 1 chest found (went left because there was no way to go right when I played through) so now I’ll finally be able to get this other chest.
This video didn’t work for me. The last part on his way to the chest he waits for the timer to run out then destroys the box on the feather weight and those pedestals lift in the distance? For me, those pedestals DO NOT lift at all. I’m playing on the Switch so I’m wondering if it is a glitch. They only lift if I destroy the box while the timer is still running but once the timer runs out then ALL pedestals are lowered which makes it impossible to get to the chest.
since the new update THIS DOES NOT WORK you don’t need the boxes just enough stamina to do 2x Ares Wrath’s then 1x Athenas dash, you gotta aim it through the hole properly, then as you hit the hole and your stamina is probs red as hell, use a stamina potion as you enter the hole then fly to the next platform :)
For some reason after destroying the first boxes my platforms leading to the chest are not coming up. Was this patched or am I having a glitch or am I missing something? Can someone help please
Break big boxes, put down Fenyx statue on feather plate, run back to lever let time run down, re hit lever box will roll off fenyx statue and platforms for treasure chest path will raise.
I beat this the wrong way lol... I used 16 stamina potions attempting it but I got it. I opened the last gate, jumped on top those two wooden crates, glided as far as I could, jumped on the first platform that rises in the direction (then potion) of the chest.. then I glided around the giant wall with the hole in the middle, used the godly power jump twice and then athenas dash to land on the double platform (next potion), then I regularly jumped onto the next platform, then jumped and glided to the chest You can do it just in the nick of time buts its very difficult. Going through the hole in the wall is basically impossible if you’re doing the time trial method
So I found a way to get the platforms up after the timer without having to break the big cratyes at the start of the third phase. When you pull the lever the plastforms come up right? well do not go in and wait for the timer to run out, next when you pull it the platforms should stay down, go in, destroy both platforms then run back to the lever. This time when you pull the platforms should stay down but new crates form and when the timer finishes? you should be inside with the crates and the platforms should be up. now you can use the crates to jump off without, and I mean without breaking them as this time the platforms to the right will go down. so: 1: pull the lever but stay with the lever. Wait for the right hand platforms to go down. 2: pull the lever again and destroy both big crates then run back to lever. Wait, the platforms should be down still. 3: pull lever again, which would make the platforms move up but new crates form and push the plate down keeping platforms down. when lever timer runs out, the platforms should be up (permanently) and you on the crates ready to jump, normal double jump, DO NOT break those crates.
So I figured out how they were able to jump through the hole on second part easier. Go to options, controls, then make sure the long jump action is set to press and not hold. Changing this makes your jump reach max height without having to hold the button down and perfectly time the double jump. Definitely saved my thumb from getting a blister trying to mash the button as fast as able.. Sadly, now I make it through the hole no problem but still for the life of me, can't make it through door. I times it out, this person has 30 secs to get through from one side to the other, for some reason I am only getting 27 secs..
The fact you have to cheese this vault now by completely bypassing the platforms is a failure on Ubisoft. If you dont have at least 2 full stamina bars and fully upgraded stamina potions then this vault is impossible to complete
4:50 ... This doesn't work for me. ... When I do destroy the box,it raises the farther platforms. However they quickly go back down and if you're on them platforms, you die and restart the section. Whereas in this vid the platforms stay up. Luckily there are other ways, although I have not been sucessful yet. Due to the heights and platforming, I have almsot thrown-up plus have been physically shaking. Hands turn to mushy jelly and don't work right.
FINALLY COMPLETED this. It took three health potions, 14s stamina potions, and two defence potions lost to failed Ares' Wrath. Method, build a stack of boxes six high at where this vis is at 3:44. (Can't stack any more because they break.) Miss out the hole in the wall. Aim for the destination chest direction to the left of the wall. Double jump from the top of the six stack boxes, and glide. Maybe half way do two Ares' Wrath, and then glide. While gliding take stamina, and glide to the destination: at this point you would be low. Do two Ares' Wrath. Make sure you do the last Ares' Wrath as you are nose touching the wall. That way when you come out of the second Wrath you will grab the ledge.
Since the floor at the final chest only rise up to 30 seconds, what I did was to run and jump2x and do 2x ares jump and just glide over that big wall, I didnt went thru the hole because it just led me to the lower floor with timing, so I just glide over the wall and directly to the 3rd chest lol. Yes I used up 2 stamina potions ahha
I think mine is broken....the third area to get the chest. When I break the box to try to get the platforms to raise for the chest path after timer runs out on switch. Nothing happens. Platforms don't raise. I have to break the box while timer is still going for them to raise. Only way they'll go up for me.
I did not have to do all that stuff with the boxes. You wait until after the timer runs out to destroy the box with the plate under it so it won't respawn. Then I ran up the first set of pillars and used Ares Wrath to get up high enough and glide through the hole to the other side. If you don't have Ares Wrath I suppose you'll have to do it this way.
Did you cheat? After I break the large boxes over the leaf plate, the platforms rise but they fall again as soon as the lever returns to its initial position. In your video all the platforms stay up; seems like time is not an issue for you. Also that jump at 4:01 was impossible for me; you got way more height even on that single before the double. Just seems really fishy
For sure, 75% to 90% of you watching this video are playing in normal or higher difficulty, and of course cant do this vault. Put the difficulty of the game in story so the timers of the levers get bigger. If you play this vault in story mode u can do the third part very easily plus get the hard chest. Just destroy the boxes, go to the right platforms, use the wrath of ares 1 time with the double jump and u can get past the middle (tunnel). Dont destroy your keyboard, this stupid vault is not worth it...
