That was negligent reporting regarding the incident in NY. Malik was the one assaulted by a close and personal friend of Bella Hadid, called a homophobic slur multiple times and the assailant threatened extortion using a hand gesture. The owner of the establishment clarified that Malik was not the assailant and was defending himself after being approached outside the establishment by Bella's friend. I find it quite interesting that TMZ did not amend their report once new information came to light, so it appears they are not a credible news source and are only willing to report 1/2 the story. Also, none of the Hadid's spoke out against the attackers behavior knowing that Malik was the one assaulted by Bella's friend. Furthermore, that same friend was culpably involved in another altercation/attack on another celebrity just not too long ago. Please verify your sources prior to posting. If it's not factual reporting it's wrong!!! And it gives off the wrong message to the public.

Yolanda sounds like the typical meddling "monster in law" type even though her daughter and boyfriend aren't married. I've this seen this behavior before. A mother wants to control her adult kids lives to the point where she breaks up their relationship and portrays herself as a victim. She may also have had an unhealthy attraction to Zayn, but he obviously doesn't' feel that way towards her. Yolanda's romantic life suggests she can't maintain a relationship with a man for long, though she's supposed to be dating. So again she might secretly harbor jealousy towards her daughter's love life. Gigi must decide if she and Zayn can overcome this and if they truly love each other the mom must stay away.
He had every right to have a go at Gigi for having zero backbone against her meddling mother.
