The 2024 Met Gala called for guests to dress to the theme of ‘The Garden of Time’, which is inspired by the J.G. Ballard short story of the same name, while the accompanying exhibition was entitled ‘Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion’ and features archival pieces of fashion that are too delicate ever to be worn again, ‘sleeping beauties’.

@@Iloveyoursmile she didn’t follow the theme she came up with her own theme about running through some garden with her dress flowing 😂 when the dress code was garden of time based on a book about death basically and picking flowers from a garden to save two sister who eventually die as does the garden because all the flowers were picked ! A dark theme would have been more appropriate but yeah !

Tyla was the star of the night. Her dress was so unique and well thought and very accurate to the theme.Theme is the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion with dress code of “Garden of Time” with zones of “Land, Sea, and Sky”. So her sand dress represents both land and sea and hourglass bag represents time. BRILLIANT

Tyla is gorgeous but I hated that they did the dress to a non functional point. It was way too long and big at the bottom. They could have made it long but not so long that 4 men had to hold it for her to walk.

Zendaya's eye make-up was horrific, Kim looked like she hadn't brushed her hair and that terrible baby sweater thing, I'm not sure who the other lady is with the wood top but I have no complaints there and Alia Bhatt should have been in this instead of Kim 🤷‍♀️ I think everyone is so stuck on the person that they can't give a real opinion on things that just didn't look good.
