It really sucks because some of these celebrities don’t know how to follow a theme, they think creativity is all it’s about but NO it’s about being creative while staying on theme.

Kylie’s dress is actually really hear touching. Her dress was designed by a really close friend who safely passed so even though it didn’t quite fit the theme it really meant something to her.

It's touching, and I'm glad she did that for herself and her late friend, but a theme is a theme. That dress not only did not fit the theme, it didn't even fit "haute couture"

There were a lot of people who didn't met the theme of Met Gala. But some people did met the theme of Met Gala. Billie Eilish looked amazing, like always. Blake Lively looked stunning, like always. I love that video.

I know that the Kardashian’s dresses are a mess but the only reason why Kylie showed up with that dress is because she wanted to support her friend that made it. If some of you don’t know the designer of Kylies dress passes away and Kylie wanted to support her friend and the designer was a talented person who really deserved a long life.

Addison's outfit didn't fit the theme and yeah I find her cringey but she isn't the mother of the young audience who follow her. That is upto them and their parents. She is not there to tell them what to do or wear. She's simply living her own life and as cringey as it is, she shouldn't be attacked for something she never took on.

Most of those celebrities actually have no control over what they’re wearing to the Met, each tables are sponsored by big brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, etc.. the brands would invite celebrities to sit at their table and because those brands are the ones paying for the tables, those celebrities are obligated to wear that brand and the brand have control over what they wear. Sometimes the brand would create custom looks for celebrities to fit the theme or they might offer some archival looks for them but sometimes the brands don’t wanna do that and just want the celebrities to show off the brand’s newest runway collection. So if u hate an outfit, don’t blame the celebrity. Blame the brand.

You've done a Great Job with your Pov's regarding this year's Met Gala ! I've been saying for YEARS ... They should've implemented a strategy to make sure everyone's on point ... For Example : If you're Invited Or Purchase a ticket ... You MUST send images of your Outfit to the Designated Individual the Gala puts in charge of Overseeing the Theme Requested is being observed ! If the designated person decides your outfit is not on theme, Then they should tell them to submit a "New Look" Or Forfeit your entrance to the Gala ! i was about to comment this. she looked beautiful at the after party, and i fully believe everyone saying “omg how could she wear that so inappropriate!” is just mad they have nothing bad to say about her look. i wish people would just talk about a woman’s actions to explain why they don’t like them, and stop attacking her looks then trying to hide their internalized misogyny by blaming it on their “audience’s age”. it fully infuriates me as someone’s who’s addison’s age, i would feel horrible about myself after feeling confident in an outfit to go to a party with my friends then being condemned for it.
