Been playing riktor alot and actually having an easy time dominating with him. I even won my team a game when I was playing midlane as him, and my shinbi jungle refused to do objectives and to help
Not sure I would set Riktor below Muriel and Phase. I've been playing Riktor support with the build you did in offlane, going Elafrost first instead of Orb. Its absolutely crazy how you can dominate. I bring all the tankiness needed for group fights, together with my CC and high damage. Sure I don't have any armor, but this doesn't even become a factor, similar to your offlane vid with him. At the same time with Muriel and Phase, you are so entirely dependent on your team. Barely can take care of a lane by yourself, if you are caught alone you most likely die, etc. - I would love to see you in a game with one of those support chars though and prove to me why you rate them so high ;)
If you play against a good duo you will get poked the whole time early when having rik support. A muriel or even a phase can apply so much pressure early game, something riktor can't letting their carry take the lead in early game. Riktor is also an easy target, having no escape and he does not survive much as a support, so playing him from behind will not be that great.
@@Marco..1 I don't know man. A good riktor also lands his hooks, making him very dangerous, often leading to a kill. With emptis offlane build for 0.19, at the end you have 5k health, but do also a decent amount of damage. maybe in my elo (high gold) there are not many good supports, but I feel like Muriel or phase totally lose against riktor here.
@@Allantir The thing with riktor's hook is that you can dodge it quite easily if you have a small hitbox, even easier with an dash like tb or kira if riktor uses the hook on full range so hitting the hook does not only depend on your skill, also on the skill of the opponent. On gold (also on plat) most supports do not know what they should do so many won't use the weakness of the opponents lane to their advantage making their support hero much weaker as he is. People their use phase solely for pulling and are always standing behind the carry. Same goes for people who are using muriel only for shielding. That isn't how you play that heroes, making them feel much weaker than they are. A good Muriel will always apply pressure on the lane, standing in poking distance of the opponent carry/support dealing constant damage. That being said riktor isn't a bad pick at the current meta, he also has some advantages like better peeling, but with him you will be at disadvantage early on lane, making it harder to get a lead.
1:32 I don't understand the scaling system, I did search it, but I didn't find anything. Can u please tell me where I can find information about scaling😊
@@saeedshakur9868 there's not really a place to tell you everything about each hero scalings. Although you do get a general idea from the AP/ad ratio scalings on abilities, most of it is based on understanding kits or the items you're building and how they function at different stages of the game with more and more gold/stats. Someone like sparrow scales really well due to her passive, e and Ultimate for example. Dekker is really strong in lane and as a pick potential. She of course scales fine in general, however when you have supports like narbash and Muriel who offer quite a lot of damage mitigation/healing in the later stages tend to be a bit more impactful.
Twinblast can feel weak when boxing other carries due to his 2 shot instead of one. Against other carries if I miss 1 of his 2 shots I’m cooked while others can miss one but one auto makes up for it. Also I feel like sparrow has that press button win game type of play style especially with her stim. So I put her bottom of A+ and TB top of A
I definitely wouldn’t say S tier, I use countess who is b tier on this list and I find myself playing very well against morigesh, people forget countess ultimate ability cancels out the ultimate of Gideon, morigesh and howitzer in the mid lane
She has zero escape options so it is very easy to stall lane at your tower early game and force her to push up which is a big disadvantage for her. Also if you are playing any hero with cc options I would say just don't be afraid to push her.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think I did argus a bit dirty, and probably should be at least a tier higher, but on EU I haven't seen him enough. Gadget is a whole different story which I explained why she's rated that way, and I wouldn't change because that's how she's always been.
Love this vid! I’m sat here with your mum and we were discussing how we would love to see you play aurora at some point! Also dinner is ready in 10 minutes you wanting it brought to your room as usual?
