I just LOVE this "method" of making 9-patch blocks... THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this technique!! I can't afford to buy books, but am glad to know this way of making them... fooling with tiny squares is a pain! LOL

I have this book and bought at Stitchin' Heaven. I'm more inspired today to start another one of these "baby" quilts, as I call them. Even the 3" finished square!!!!! The display at the store is not now visible--it could be there, but I can't find it. They are such darling quilts! The "method" approach to making these blocks in genius. Thanks so much for producing!

That's a pretty complex thing for me to try and explain here. I recommend you go to your local quilt shop for some hands on instruction. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!

The Nine Patch Gatherings book says to use 3/4" finished Thangles to achieve those tiny half-square triangles. stitchinheaven.com/products/thangles-1-2-3-4-mini-pk
