a person made a very intelligent comment in the original video, when this happens immediately stop moving the vehicle, get out, deflate all of the tires completely and THEN back out. you get the clearance you need and limit the damage to the object and vehicle.
I feel terribly bad for Zito but hearing the guys try and give some support right after it happened is great to hear. I assumed that they were grilling him the whole time after the ALLEGED incident!
It's great to know that even though they were ripping Zeet a new one on the first podcast back, they were pretty chill with him when it actually happened and asked how he was doing telling him to just stay calm
It’s the fact he hits it going 25 mph and it stops… then proceeds to go as far as he can before saying “Jesus Christ… I think it’s stuck” has me absolutely dying
MetLife security were 100x Nicer to zito after her ruined there awning then they were the last 5 jets games I was at just trying to find a parking spot
@@shanekennedy7304 : It's the responsibility of the driver to know the height of his vehicle and the height of the clearance he's going through, MetLife doesn't have to post a thing, but it would be a good suggestion to do so. That video of the 11'8" bridge is posted but people keep topping their vehicles, it's the driver's responsibility to know the clearance. Edit: I watched the video again, these morons had a lane on the outside to the left of the awning for oversized vehicles, no, it's on these morons, I should know what I'm talking about, I drove a truck over the road for almost 30 years, and I never once topped a trailer.
I did this in a uhaul. After a long day of moving I pulled into a bank ATM to get money. Then went to pull out and the roof was was 2" too tall, tried to back out but I was stuck and didn't want to hurt the roof anymore. A cop sat there and watched me walk around trying to figure out what to do, he waited like 5 min before lighting me up. Then like 5 cop cars showed up and they congregated laughing at me, called a tow truck. Once he showed up he came up with the idea to deflate the tires and it worked. Got a careless driving ticket and a $2500 bill from uhaul ( The extra insurance doesn't cover the roof FYI). Definitely not my finest hour.
Tell you right now...I pushed a 12' Ryder into an 11.5' underpass. Thought they were lying. Turns out it was legit 11.5'....peeled it like a tin can. Best part...when I turned in the truck they didn't inspect it so I got my deposit back.
I was linked to this video from "the truck-killing bridge" which is a hilarious video showing multiple trucks crashing trying to go under a bridge too low to clear them. I find it funny that this stuff is real
Right? If you think you dont have clearance you do one of two things. 1) drive somewhere else 2). Drive up to that low spot and very slowly move ahead to see if you can make it. What a bonehead :)
Dark Days if they tell you to go though a wall or under an awning with a rv you just keep doing it till your thought so I don’t know what y’all talking about
@@coldwinter5428 I'm pretty sure even somebody with an average IQ , would know that your second option even isn't a viable one when leasing a thousands of dollars RV
Crazy how the driver doesn’t take accountability, he should be responsible and known his clearance and took it slow to see if he can clear it. Crazy smh.
I know I'm late but I'm just getting in on this story so here's my thoughts. In aviation, the FAA has loops in the rules where anything they say you can do, they add "if it is safe to do so." I believe there is even one specific section that says hey, if you mess up it's your faut, you obviously weren't being safe if you wreck. That way, if you do something and your excuse is "there's no rule against it," they whip out the "bUt It WaSnT sAfE" card. I assume essentially the same applies in this case. Sure, the guy told Zito to go through, but in the end Zito is the driver, the one in charge of the vehicle, and all the passengers aboard so he deserves the punishment he got. I'm not sure what the total to repair the ceiling was, definitely not cheap, but the cop literally did everything he could do by bringing that ticket down to $85 for being careless.
We need a Best of Cuban Zeet......this guy has be DYINNNNNG every time. Also as a side note, is it just me or does Boston Connor oddly remind you of KC Armstrong from the Stern Show back in the day?
Careless/reckless driving is about the only thing cops can actually write a traffic ticket for on private property (which a parking lot is private property).
It doesn't matter, that whole building is closed and about to be demolished, they built another one across the track, that's the old meadowlands racetrack clubhouse, it's not serious at all
Shit gets me laughing so hard.. I drive and deliver parts everyday and my van is tall and I caught it in a burger king one day and got a scrape on the side I never hear the end of... Hmu y'all I need to be on the squad
