Celtics and Heat run the east. Both of them were in the last three out of four ECF. The 2021 year was a fluke as Heat had no off season and we’re injury riddled and Jaylen brown was injured. Milwaukee had offence issues last two years and now this year have the opposite problem which isn’t an issue in the regular season but will be an issue in the playoffs. The 76ers aren’t serious even with Nick Nurse at the helm and the rest of the East is either too young or not good. enough.

The only team who gets better by subtraction (losing Strus, Gabe, and Big Yurtz) but seeing Bam has added "Hakeem's unstoppable "shake and bake" mid-range shot, Duncan has re-invented himself adding a slashing scorer to his lethal 3-point shooting! Adding J-Rich, Hightower 3 and D, Bryant's inside game. Rookie JJJ playing like a Butler clone! Herro playing with a chip on his shoulder! This is insane! They were not suppose to be this good this year. I really think the Heat will be most dangerous if they could get a good PG to compliment and rest Lowry (he's almost 40 yrs old) Heat need to trade for one badly (like a Jose Alvarado or bring Rajon Rondo out of retrement his IQ is like a coach alone) Another concern is to bring Butler off the bench to give him mush needed rest (the guy has been playing deep into the playoffs for 4 years straight with 2 NBA finals appearances. His body is beat-up is why you see him having all these injuries now. Just rest him!

Huh? Last time I checked they lost out in the 1st round in 2021 so I struggle to understand how they would have made back to back in 2022

Every coach will say shit like that doesn't mean it's true. People were criticizing the same trade because they need another true star in the team to get you to that next level come deep playoffs. You quickly realize that when you're in the second round or the cf or finals just one player usually can't do it and if you're a rookie or an undrafted guy it's unlikely you do much either. Jimmy and his crew needs a star that will bail them out come like game 6 when you're down 3-2 in the series.

@@Dashoost honestly I think maybe this year isn't quite his year to be a regular contributor, but if he is ahead in his development and can become a reliable contributor night in and night out, that would be a HUGE plus. I don't expect that to happen this year but going forward. In the meantime maybe he can give you a few games like he did last night vs GSW and we'll take that. Could give him some confidence going into next year too

@@davidriedy5977 I kind of think they will have no choice. The size and handling creates more advantages for Spos rotation. If he can handle 15-20 min i dont see any way Spo can keep him on the bench down the final couple of months heading into the playoffs

I totally agree; but everyone wants to jump on the top 3 roster builds in the East bandwagon despite their Coaches being in freshman or sophomore years with the 6ers, Bucks and Cs! Yet with the exception of Vogel's Lakers in 2020 winning it all with LBJ, all the other champs had tenured coaches like the current Malone Denver champs. In fact, i think, it's been either Kerr or Spo teams in the Finals in what 12 of the last 13 years?😮

I think they can make it to finals, and even win it all with health and injured opponents, but it’s hard to imagine the heat being able to knock off a team like the nuggets, thunder and a few others. Id love to see it happen tho, miami is my second favorite franchise and my rockets aren’t really competing so i’m wanting miami to take it all the way
