That's a very nice thing to say and I don't want to be rude here, but I really hope you weren't trying to say this guy is the best guitar player in the world. That would be absolutely absurd and disrespectful to the people who have actually mastered this instrument. This guy is good don't get me wrong, he's much better than I am, but he's simply improvising over a pre-recorded song that someone else wrote. He's doing a great job but it's clear he has nowhere near mastered this scale let alone the entire instrument. I'm 100% sure he would admit this himself as well. He just didn't want to shut down your compliment because it was a very flattering and nice thing to say.
Good Freaking Lord....I have one word to describe this performance....P-A-S-S-I-O-N!!! That was, by far, the absolute best performance you have ever done in my opinion. So much passion, so much energy, it took your breath away as well as mine. OMG that was beyond awesome. If I could smash the like button more than once, it would be smashed every second every day for the rest of my life!

Ryan's Synthwave Guitar thank you, one more thing do you think someone learning to play the guitar should start with an acoustic or electric? Does it make a difference?
@@maxheedrum100 Personally I started with electric, but people say better to start with Acoustic. That said, I taught myself just watching RU-vid videos and jamming along to tracks. So I think it depends on what you prefer.

I always picture myself being a pioneer of sorts. Travelling the universe discovering new planets and jamming to music like this with my electric gat in a space suit. Saxophone when im in a room that has oxygen. My all time favorite instruments.
This one of the best things I have ever come across and a huge impact on my style of sound. I came across this video a few months ago and since then I have been obsessed in trying to mimic this kind of guitar style. So for that, I thank you my dude. This is truly an inspiration to the way I play guitar these days.

Thanks dude, if im honest, my mixing wasnt the best here and I should've let the sax ring out by itself haha. Feel free to check out my latest videos. I just put up another FM-84 improv 😊 I think ive learned to blend my guitar better.
@@RyansSynthwaveGuitar I see your point though; the sax solos are indeed what make The Midnight songs stand out from the rest of Synthwave bands and artists and letting it breathe on its own or with very subtle contributions with your guitar would have been more appropriate. But I still think your guitar blended in very very well with the song early on. I still think you put in a lot of passion into your playing too, wich shows that you really love Retrowave and the whole genre which I respect. Keep it up man!
Thanks so much. It really was all improvised on the spot. I'd have to relearn what I made up in the moment haha. I might make a video on improvisation though.
I agree that it is amazing! But not sure it is better than the original! If you think it's better than the original, you know nothing about the Midnight!
