I have one that I'm upgrading from (it is still fine, just want to try something new). I carried a FSP Bullet and Olight in the outside pocket, a 3.5 inch knife, bandaids, a couple pieces of paper, flash drive, 6 inch phone charger, and microfiber cloth. It ended up being fatter than yours but I carried it in my front pocket, even in jeans with no discomfort. The zippers held with no issues. It's a great wallet/edc kit and I highly recommend it
I recently found the CHUMS wallet in the sporting goods section at Walmart. I bought two: one for work and one for personal use. For work, I need to carry my ID and certificates indicating my responsibilities. For my personal everyday carry (EDC), the wallet has a section for coins, and the key pocket is perfect for attaching my AirTag.
Got one from Walmart . Keep money and plastic cards in the zipper pocket . Try to run with 20 ones , 4 fives , 2 tens , 2 twenties , and a one hundred dollar bill , not that anybody gives a flying merkel . Just making a point as to how much it will hold . I don't use the "D" ring , although I should ... dummy cord it to my belt would be a step above my normal op. Always carry a good quality lock blade , pepper spray , key ring with a knife/micro light/can opener combo , fire steel , cotton tender in one of the drugies stainless steel bottle , and a whistle . Phone and a Bic lighter , pen and paper in my pocket . If rain is possible , I carry a g.i. o.d. poncho . Would like to have a small gun , 22 lr North American Arms has been my preference in the past . I use a walking cane ( metal ) which will work as a bludgeon in a pinch , or till I exhaust myself and have to set down 😒 Sorry for the long winded response . I do enjoy seeing everyone's EDC , and why they choose the gear they do . 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great minds. I just bought a Chums wallet for this purpose. To carry the Leatherman bit set, extension driver, and t-shank file/saw combo for the Surge along with my ID and a few credit cards. Bought a buddy the ratchet driver for his birthday last year for 35 bucks and now I see people reselling them for 70 bucks on Amazon. Shoulda held on to that bad-boy. What a mistake.
I've seen hundreds of EDC kits on RU-vid and this is the most genius setup I've seen. The funny thing is I returned the SOG Powerpint because I hated its side tools. I also was aware of the bit driver extension at the end. But the way you have everything, that's literally everything needed in a tiny package. Add a Vic Rambler and you are set. (imo the Vic Rambler has better side tools than the SOG, ie better scissors, better can opener, better Philips 1). I might have to rebuy the SOG Powerpint.
I have a larger pouch I keep in my bag as a mini 1st aid and some small tools. Just got a slip thing that has space for a notebook, pen, and cards that works as an all-inclusive wallet. But now I have nowhere for some little tools. This video seems a nice starting place for that.
I use the ratchet extension with my Gerber Dime. Don't much like the Dime but it works well with the ratchet and bits if I need extra leverage besides just the extension itself.
Add a small gun/battry & charging cable/ thread & needle/ lighter to another pack in similar size and put them together. Now you have your backpack in your pocket ✌️
I bought this at dicks sporting goods. I absolutely love it. I attached a small lanyard to hook to my belt loop for front pocket carry while on vacation. Love this product. Great organization and keeps clutter out of your wallet.
Nice little kit my dude. I own and love the chums wallet, never thought to use it solely as an EDC pouch tho. I really like the PowerPint, Leatherman ratchet combo. I have the PowerPint so I might have to get the ratchet now. Already planned on getting the bits to go with my wave so why not, right. I love the Barney ID in the Trayvex lol, nice addition.
In my personal carry... No specific links, sorry. Victorinox swisstool x with ratchet. (Can be bought from amazon, smkw.com, or victorinox.com) Knipex 5" cobra pliers, & knipex 5" plierswrench. (Amazon, ebay, knipex.com) Olight i5r eos (Amazon, ebay, olightstore.com) Wazoogearco viking spark (Wazoogearco.com) Qsp penguin. www.qspknife.com?sca_ref=4513148.MixxZ31zBW Sog powerpint. (Lowes.com, amazon, ebay, sog.com) I hope that helps a bit.
Maybe, but I think the best use for the keychain is to attach the wallet to a belt loop to ensure it doesn't drop to the ground if it happens to slip out of the pocket.
@@swat37 Yes, it would be great for a lanyard/chain, or maybe to attach some kind of often-used gadget to. Keys are definitely a bad idea though, since almost every wallet contains something with your address on it.
@@thepenultimateninja5797 Yeah, I wouldn't combine them because if you were to get mugged then not only will you lose your keys but the mugger will have your personal information and keys!
I keep a spare car key there. When I go fishing or whatever I lock my keyring in the trunk of the car with other valuables and carry the chums wallet with the spare car key, ID, health insurance card, fishing license, and one credit card. The wallet goes in a pocket that has a zip, Velcro, or button closure so it won't get lost. Everything in one place and the expensive electronic key fob stays locked in the car out of harm's way
Does anyone actually carry something like this every day that isn’t some sort of superintendent or maybe someone that might do some maintenance or the like? Like, carry in your pocket?
The grift is unbelievable. 2 pieces of polyester, a zipper and it's a "wallet". even worse, they dare to charge more than 5 bucks for this. even worse! they have paid shills who promote them on YT.
