The part that always bothers me about this is Gandalf solos the boss comes back with a new title and legendary gear and a new mount just not a team player

I think that it would be somewhat of a hassle to do so. The entire unit would have to be beskar or something that functions identically in the case of heat discharge from prolonged exposure to an incoming blade (will melt the unit otherwise). Second, production costs will shoot through the roof (which I doubt is a big issue but still). Third, I assume clipping it to your belt will be a bit more wonky and get in the way occasionally. Fourth, force yoinking it to you may just bap your hand and be a little painful (or if it’s like Kylo’s, and it’s on, you could just obliterate your hand. Fifth and finally, if the guard was made from beskar and did sustain prolonged attacks, that heat discharge is going to absolutely destroy your hand (from radiation or conduction). These are just possible reasons from me sitting here for a bit, and they are subject to free debate.

@Codyiguess OK not to be THAT GUY, but lightsabers do technically have weigh due to them being able to collide w each other, aswell as momentum being built when a jedi swings it
@@Codyiguess yeah i didnt consider kylo i apologise i just wish they were more widely adopted, kylos actually did work out in a few scenarios so i thought that would be a coooler addition. and yeah ofc they can do that but whats the fun in a movie that just uses lightsabers as instant death machines
@@Codyiguess they aren’t weightless, watch the rebels series, the blades are heavy, but when you use the saber more and become better attuned to the crystal it becomes lighter, also since jedi and sith can see attacks before they happen, just doing traditional sword strikes would be easy to read, and usually be a waste of stamina. They had flourishes and such to make it more confusing to read when the opponent sees the present and a little into the future at the same time.

Just as long as you warn no one to tempt your power or anger you because if they tested it out they would destroy that thing. But if it was a real lightsaber you would just be ruler of the world no one would be able to touch you. Oh man imagine having a real lightsaber in medieval times you would get all the bitches.

@@Yomamma101 This video is the reason why I wanted to play a Paladin, we started the campaign around the point in time I posted the comment, and we ended it last week! (I got a Lightsaber greatsword as my magic item, and my character got married😎)
@@JackGamer9731 that’s rad man! I love the game so much, unfortunately I haven’t played in a couple years because of how much I have to work. But some of my favorite memories where playing that game for days in a row sometimes.
Luke unexpectedly travels to the LOTR dimension, befriended Gandalf and the Fellowship. In return for their hospitality, he taught them how to make a lightsaber and master the force. The Fellowship traveled to Mt. Doom safely and unopposed.
To be fair, alot of the reason for why a crossguard was not as needed was because Lightsabers attract to one another, that is why you have so many instances where the blades are pushed against each other, as they effectively magnetise to one another, so there would be little chance of a blade sliding down and hitting your hand. That coupled with the fact Jedi are trained and are greatly assisted with the force with regard to battle foresight and foresight in general they would know when a blade would slide down and would be able to dodge the attack. Oh, and also the fact that a crossguard actually can get in the way when swinging and flourishing.
Pretty sure that's wrong. Lightsabers don't attract each other, they repel. That's why the blades bounce off each other and can reflect blaster bolts. When the blades lock, it's the welders pushing against each other. You can push same polarity magnets towards each other, the magnets just resist. If the lightsabers attracted each other, they would just stick together any time they got close.
It would be cool AF if Survivor let's you use a variant of Galen Marek's spare parts hilt from the first game with the crystal exposed and everything. Also as some lightsaber styles required more finesse in a sense then the handguard sometimes got in the way
Its more reliable to trust in SpongBob than the Force, to think The Force allows abominations timelines where Rey SkYwAlKeR is a thing just proves to me that this entity is not sane or reliable.
