The Mighty Missouri is Finally Mine! (World of Warships Legends) 

A little tidbit for you Sparty - a good friend of mine had a great uncle who served on the Mighty Mo during the war. He was a guard for Emperor Hirohito during the formal signing of Japan's surrender. He said he was a very humble & soft spoken man. He autographed a dollar bill for my buddy's uncle. His Auntie still had it when she passed away, long after her husband had gone. It was a cool bit of history to see

When Missouri was first released on the PC Wargaming had a partnership with Steven Seagal where he reprised his role as Chief Casey Ryback from the movie Under Siege as a special Captain for the Ship and did the voice over work. In dock his character would walk around the deck doing various things. As a joke referencing how fat he has gotten I used to say if you can't find him just check which way the ship is listing to find him lol.

Spartan: If you angle this correctly, Yammie will just bounce and ricochet right off. Yamato: (fires) Missouri: (18.1in shells bounce away) Yamato: Nani?!?! All jokes aside, how many players are ACTUALLY going to know how to effectively angle the armor? They're either going to sail full broadside which is the express train back to port or they're going to over-angle.

Mighty Mo was my first museum ship tour and apart from the awe of the sheer size and history location at Pearl the tour and access allowed was amazing, fell in love with Iowas ever since, did all the tourist things think we spent about the whole day on Missouri, a day well spent

The Iowa had 2,700 officers and men (World War II, Korea and Vietnam), 1,800 officers and men (1980s). Just for your info!

I'm glad you got the Missouri, in an older video you didn't think much of the radar which I was surprised about however you definitely think differently about it now and it makes this ship so powerful in contesting a cap early on in a game. Yes I'd love to see more vids on it, I have the Missouri and love her, I am curious if you change the first slot on Sims in the future to reduce fire chances especially when contesting caps. Great video btw and keep up the good work ✌️

Love my Missouri, that radar and her accurate guns make for not needing a good dd teammate....I hate relying on others anyway lol.

RE: the speed. They were designed for 33kts but in their '45 config the Iowa's struggled to get above 31kts. All that extra AA, crew supplies etc did slow them down. They could reach it for small bursts but not maintain it as a cruising speed. They made 33 pretty easily by Korea when most of the extra above design AA was removed.

Got her by late January of this year and yes Sims shines with this ship because i do believe this ship is slightly more accurate than the Iowa because she doesn't have a plane. I'm using my Sims just like yours but using Fire with Fire and for inspirations I'm using Cunningham and Hide and my HP is over 71k. Her lower side armor and the pre-nerfed Iowa guns are the reasons why i prefer Missouri over Iowa. The radar and credit bonuses are just the cherry on top. Iowa haves a 25mm lower side armor making it overmatched by 15 inch guns btw.

they need to add a saying that you need will to rebuild that way players know you need to heal when you're not in a division

3:00 the -70% is what you want on your DCP. You don't use it for the temporary invinsibility for fires but to extinguish (spelling?) them.

Some type of sonar or radar, even if it's short range and/or duration, should be an option for every battleship in the game. Battleships literally have no counterplay against destroyers other than "run away, hope you run in the right direction, and/or hope he screws up for three minutes straight in order to give you something to shoot at long enough to kill him". In games where a destroyer (or multiple ones at the same time) go after me in a bb that's the best I can hope for. Zigzag like mad trying to do something for my team before the dds figure out how to aim and I die to three or 4 torps I can't see until it's too late. Working as intended, I'm sure. At least it makes playing cruisers fun when I get to hunt those little bastards down and maybe dpm them to death if they don't run away.

You should also say Musashi when you mention Yamato overmatching

I swear on the PC version you could get Mo's concealment down to 11K. She was the ultimate ambush predator.

Is the transverse bulkhead thicker on Missouri than the Iowa? In real life Missouri and Wisconsin had substantially thicker transverse bulkheads for and aft offering better protection from the front and rear.

Her plate number is actually why my name is what it is Wolfworld63 was made with the help of my girlfriend, and the help of the Missouris plate number. I have to love her, and actually Vangard was the last Battleship built in the world, but Missouri was the last Battleship built by the US Navy

You touched on something that I have a legit issue with in this game. How does it take 2 salvos to take out "most" destroyers but I can erase a cruiser with 1? This should be the other way around. I understand they are allowing over pens and all. But I don't give a royal rat's red glowing rump if it over pens or not. A 14"-18" shell hitting a destroyer is going to absolutely wreck, if not completely obliterate the ship. No contest. That's why destroyers get the stealth bonuses. But if you screw up and get a battleship main gun hitting your destroyer, it should be an instant and immediate "oh, fuck" moment.

Players like that guy in the Azuma are why I quit playing this game. He managed to be the top scoring player on his team yet was totally WORTHLESS to his team. How people can't understand such a basic game and play the objective is beyond me.

I'm extremely jealous of you Spartan! Coz I don't have the Missouri. ( I have the Iowa and Montana but still...) However when you turned on the radar on that destroyer popping smoke just to spam torp ya and eliminated him, right there...I felt that justice was finally served for those battle ship captains who had to deal with the abuse that those pesky destroyers do. Lol

I'm not a fan of the Legendary tier sweat. But I'm underway for Parseval and Edinburgh, so I can get both of those or one of those and a Legendary carrier. So, curiously I'm unsure which to do. So I'm asking my favourite Warship RU-vidr.
