THE MIND BLOWING SCHIAPARELLI HAUTE COUTURE! By Loic Prigent 

I can’t tell you how often I gasped during the runway. And the fact that Daniel Roseberry took inspiration from Dune just clinched this as one of my fave Haute Couture showings in many many years.

I want this to be a 2 hours documentary !!! Its so good, so great insights into backstage... well done Loic

I love the tailors working hard until the very last moment and panicking, for example when the golden-metal-fountain dress touches the stairs and the poor tailor is trying to save it lol. I loved that you captured them crying tears of happiness at the end. Viva la couture!

I despise what gets to be called haute couture and yet this, this is art. It is understandable, mesmerising, wearable even when over the top, and empowering for the person wearing it. ticks all the boxes, without being juvenile, crass, repetitive. The models are reed thin, but the clothes don’t depend on that. If a medium sized woman came with the money, she could look good in a version made to her size.

This collection is absolutely stunning

Daniel Roseberry is clearly a true artist on all levels…and like Schiaparelli herself….pushing boundaries to offer a surreal, alternative and exciting nod to the avant garde haute couture that she is famous for…this celestial haute couture vision is just sublime ….and just brilliant…dipping into the dark side…this galactic couture takes your breath away….enthralling…..mesmerising….superb cutting edge designs …phenomenal silhouettes …loved the striking statement black and bone white pallet…the monumental and intricate exquisite gold jewellery and armoury …truly a splendid intergalactic and otherworldly spectacle...Steven Jones excels with his millinery masterpieces….dramatically fabulous…black planets…and halos…just love that gold head bag…not to mention those incredibly vampish shoes “for the most vicious client”…and what a fitting closure to end a truly fabulous show…the black dress ..so divinely sublime …I L.O.V.E.D this …what a treat and feast for the eyes…great report Loic and team 😘

Miss Schiaparelli would be proud! Haute couture as it was intended. This is inspiration done in avant-garde and fantasy. Gorgeous proportions on multidimensional silhouettes capturing the movement even when models weren’t moving. Traces of irony, pastiche, humor and awe in this collection but nothing ordinary or cheap, except Kanye West in stupid stocking mask. Well deserved ovation! Congratulations!!
