You somehow manage to make this song sound like it would be played at a bar instead of at 3:00 AM when you’ve only consumed sodium chloride for the whole month.
This is the best hand-played piano cover of The Mind Electric I have ever seen/heard. I can't stop listening to this, and I'm so glad to have finally found such an amazing cover. You should do Murders next, and maybe Lady, The Bidding, and Pluto by Cojum Dip (which has a Tally Hall member in it). Thank you so much for playing this. This is my favorite song out of Miracle Musical, Tally Hall, and Cojum Dip.
I don't know if anyone mentioned it or if you know it already, but since this person brought up Cojum Dip, Moon Waltz could be a good suggestion too. But this cover here is fantastic!
@@nikane_ I didn't mention Moon Waltz because I believe it already has quite the selection of piano covers, including one by Bora himself, but even if i am wrong i prefer the original over a piano cover and would think a mere piano being used would be too boring for such an orchestrally/instrumentally intense song. I love the song to death though, I just would rather see piano covers of songs that don't have any. I mentioned the ones i did out of priority. But if they do eventually cover Moon Waltz, I would listen to it.
The like to dislike ratio is literally 2.8K : 5. Every 560 people who find this cool, one person finds it and hates it. This is exactly how you know that people enjoy what you made. Nice job.
Lyrics Think of these thoughts as limitless light Exposing closing circuitry of fright Think of each moment holding this breath As death minute in decimal Resident minor, how do you plead? We'll need your testimony on the stand Solemnly swear to tell the whole truth So help you son, now raise your right hand Father your honor, may I explain? My brain has claimed its glory over me I've a good heart albeit insane Condemn him to the infirmary All mine towers crumble down the flowers gasping under rubble Shrieking in the hall of lull, thy genius saves a thirst for trouble Scattering sparks of thought energy Deliver me and carry me away Here in my kingdom I am your Lord I order you to cower and pray Nuns commence incanting as the lightning strikes mine temples thus Electrifying mine chambers, wholly scorching out thine sovereignty So-so-so-so-so-so-so-so spiraling down thy majesty I beg of thee, have mercy on me I was just a boy you see I plead of thee have sympathy for me See how the serfs work the ground (see how they work) And they give it all they've got And they give it all they've got And you give it all you've got 'til you're down See how the brain plays around And you fall inside a hole you couldn't see And you fall inside a hole inside a- Someone help me Understand what's going on inside my mind Doctor I can't tell if I'm not me When it grows bright, the particles start to Marvel having made it through the night Never they ponder, weather electric Calming if you look at it right!
This is the best piano cover of The Mind Electric I have ever heard. To see such a difficult song to capture on an individual instrument played so perfectly makes me ecstatic. I'll definitely be using the sheet music for this, thank you so much for your service, sir.
I only found the first steroids mind electric video a few days ago and ran to show my sister and dad after I watched it because it was fucking insane and so so cool and then you post this so I hope you know you are one of the coolest internet pianists I know aleady
Spiral??? *SPIRALING* DOWM THY MAJESTY I BEG OF THEE HAVE MERCY ON ME I WAS JUST A BOY YOU SEE I PLEAD OF THEE HAVE SYMPATHY FOR ME SEEE HOW THE SERFS WORK THE GROUND SEEE HIW THE FALL AND THEY GIVE IT ALL THEY’VE GOT SND THEY GIVE IT SOL THEY’VE GOT SND YOU GIVE IT SLL YOU’VE GOT TILL YOU’RE DOWN MUA HA HA HA SEEE HOW THE GRAIN PLAYS AROUHOUHOUHOUND AND YOU FALL INSIDE A HOLE YOU COULDN’T SEE AND YOH FALL INSIDE A WHOLE INSIDE A- SOMEONE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON INSIDE MY MIND DOCTOR I CANT TELL IF I’M NOT MEEEEEEEEEEE
This is absolutely mindblowing dude, it seriously feels like you can hear the lyrics. It’s just amazing that someone can have this much talent, keep doing what you love man, I know you’ll get far!
this simultaneously feels like something that would be played at a bar for the dead and in a ballroom for the dead idk this just gives "we're skeletons and we're happy" vibes
this is actually the most phenomenal piano cover ive seen at this song. you are so amazingly talented and you got the ending melody so spot on. i applaud you . thank you so much for playing this
Uhhh did anyone else hear 1920's bar music towards the "See how the surfs" part? Really good tho- it sounds like music to my ears and knowing all the words to the song while you play both the bass and the vocals on piano is really talented.
Really well played ! I will steal that interpretation to play it myself, I really like the energy in the way of playing (tho I think I will try it by playing the left hand a bit quieter) !
I remember watching your last mind electric cover video!! You’re incredibly talented!! I absolutely love this score too, I also learned it about 2 or 3 years ago and still know it by memory. You’re so good at this, keep up the good work!
It's literally just The Mind Electric on Piano, yet it feels so unique! Whatever you did, you put a really cool spin on the one of the best songs ever written! Way to go
this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! thanks lol i love this!! watching your fingers is like mind-blowing lol. like halfway through on my second watch i saw you were like doing a thing with your foot too?? piano is so impressive lol. this is crazy youre so talented! i cant imagine how much practice this must have taken lol. i love this though it sounds amazing!! i love the way you did ganons laugh where you gssgsgsg that was me trying to do the thing you did on the piano lol its so cool this is sooooo cool tysm!!
i'm pretty sure that the chord you play during the " and you give it all you've *_got_* " part (1:36) is wrong. it's a c minor chord, not an e flat major chord. otherwise, great cover!
