Java players: yeah let's go I killed the strongest mob of the game Bedrock players: I won, but everything's destroyed, everyone's dead, war is a terrible thing, how can I live a normal life now
Java: time to kill a wither with slightly enchanted iron armor Bedrock: let's see, fully enchanted netherite and bow, enchanted apples, totems of undying I'm so unprepared
Lol I fought a wither with prot 4 full neherite gear enchanted apples OP bows Op swords on mobile I lost. the lag from the dash attack was devastating.
It should probably be mentioned that Java withers have a 0.1% chance to shoot a blue wither skull that can break obsidian, whereas in Bedrock the blue skull is always guaranteed to be shot if it shoots 3 black skulls in a row. To top things off, when it's summoned, the skylight gets reduced to 11, so any undead mob will NOT die until either you kill the mob or kill the wither.
So it's actually a king of the undead. . To not have undead mobs to burn in the sun. Have fight alongside him which is really cool to be a theory to be added to the lore.
I think it'd be far easier to fight him in java than bedrock, because the thing that was killing him is the effect and protection protects you from effects in java
To anyone that's thinking of killing the Wither in Bedrock: Smite is better than Sharpness, Smite deals more damage than Sharpness only to undead mobs and normal damage to others Undead mobs: Zombie, Zombie Piglin, Skeleton, Zoglin, Wither, Wither Skeleton, Zombie Villager and Phantom (unsure)
I just fought the wither for the first time on my first long term server and I got obliterated. Luckily I found a quick horse to saddle and rode back and got my loot. There’s no way I’m beating it tho
The bedrock wither has forever scarred me. I lost an entire world in normal mode, which was six months old, all because it dug up from bedrock and destroyed my gear, preceded to destroy all of my chests, and all of my buildings in the area. With no gear or supplies I realized the world was a goner. Now I’m extremely cautious whenever I decide to fight the wither.
I love how the Wither moves in Bedrock. In Java it's obvious the programming is very simplistic in that the wither is told to just get as close as possible and attack as much as if can and it looks really messy. On Bedrock on the other hand, the wither actively moves around and dashes to different positions, fires it's attacks in bursts, and tried to use its ranged attacks to its advantage and stay a distance away from you. The Bedrock version truly feels like more of a boss fight, even if some of its design elements are questionable in terms of difficulty.
there are a significant amount of bugs that lead you to taking damage in rather unfair manners. A lot of it has been fixed in the past 2 years, but especially surrounding elytra use, you can sometimes just die out of nowhere. But yeah, if hardcore was a thing for bedrock, the Wither would be THE hardcore world killer.
@@greatdayforpizza6974 i mean, if you know what your doing, wither isn’t too much of a hard boss. get riptide trident, smite V sword and a maxed out bow and go to an ocean. spawn the wither on the ocean and shoot at it until it gets to melee stage then just riptide into it, switch to smite V rinse and repeat. the only time wither is hard to deal with is if a city/important land becomes a warzone and withers are spawned. then that’s the issue, because you can’t really get rid of them, only lure them away. the real kicker is that phantoms on easy mode in bedrock do more damage than phantoms in hard mode on java
@@dekokiri9961 While the wither is in the world, the sky darkens. You can see how the clouds are gray even though it's not raining. In this video, when they look at the sun, the effect becomes more pronounced and the sky darkens to nearly pitch black. I was just commenting that it looks really cool at sunset, with the orange line on the horizon complimenting the dark sky. You can see it at 5:00
What really separates them is the fact that the bedrock wither has better destructive power, generating tough terrain and the fact that it has a charge attack and is actively trying to stay away from you in the ranged state because it knows it can hit you from that distance. Also, I fought this thing with two other players and the ravine next to us evolved into a 1.18 cave.
tips for defeating bedrock wither in normal/hard difficulty: dont waste your inventory slots for potions, fill it all up with milk buckets, fight the wither where you can find places to cover yourself up while you drink the milk(the main island of the end is a good choice, you can use the obsidian pillars as covers), drink milk whenever you are hit, orelse you'll lose all your healths very soon due to the wither effect, use instant health II dipped arrows, power 5 bow, and a smite 5 netherite sword, armor doesnt matter thst much, the main damage output of the boss is the wither effect anyway edit:golden apples and instant healing potions are optional(instant healing is viable as the effect will not be removed by the constant usage of milk unlike any other potion effects), also bring an enchanted golden apple if you have one, only use when youre at 4 hearts, do not wait until youre at critical low health, you might get killed before even finish eating the apple
@@thedoge492 better yet, just don't put knockback on your sword unless it's a pvp but since we're talking about survival world, then knockback is pretty much garbage.
I was watching this and I was like "it's not that much worse. He just tracks you better and kinda dodges." Then he got down to half health and I understood
On our bedrock realm we decided to fight the Wither in a cave we dug just above bedrock, we then covered it in about 8 layers of obsidian. We all (three) have Netherite armour fully enchanted and netherite swords etc. It blasted through it in seconds, burned through our health with the wither effect. So we ran, but one of us had the chunk render distance set to fairly high. It followed us up the shaft we dug blasting blocks. It was amazing it just stripped our base of every block in a second. We closed everything and went to the back up!!!
@@teachmehowtofard2849I just think that he didn't knew the difference between java bow and bedrock bow. He just aimed above the required direction just like java.
java wither - less health - horrible movement - low DPS - doesn't fly high bedrock wither - too much health - sonic the fricking hedgehog - broken damage output - wither rush - wither skeleton spawn - the mist it makes when you get near it - destroys and kills anything it touches - longer, more damaging and potion piercing wither effect - imune to arrows at half health - flies to the sun - breaks obsidian
on java this dude killed the wither easily in 1 minute and 30 seconds but on bedrock mans died twice and NEEDED FULL ENCHANTED NETHERITE ARMOR ALL WITH PROTECTION IV AND UNBREAKED III A TOTEM AND 64 GOD APPLES WHILE HE WAS LOW ON HIS 2ND STAGE AND HE NEEDED A GODLY NETHERITE SWORD WITH SHARPNESS IV AND UNBREAKED III THAT DEALS 14 DAMAGE
I have a sad memory with the wither. I was fighting it on bedrock hard mode with my friend but he forgot to reload on his totem of undying. he died and lost all his items. he had full enchanted netherite armour and tools. the game was lagging and that made it almost impossible to beat the wither. even though we each had a shoulder box of totems of undying (we did not go into creative mode. we got them somewhat legitimately. we got them from an automatic farm.) he still died. he did not even use all of the totems. he forgot to reload on totems.
My sad story is summoning the wither in my village, it killed all of my villagers and massacred the terrain. I also lost all but one piece of my full netherite enchanted armor but luckily I have backup netherite ingots so I can make another set. It’s gonna be a challenge getting protection 4 on everything again tho 😭
When you play in bedrck ver. You need to create separate armour for bosses. The ones that your willing to lose not max enchant just the things u need like only smite/sharpness 5 on sword and protection 5 on armour. Cause there are many things that could go wrong even if your a pro.
Bedrock player: can we put anything we want into our off hand like java does Mojang: no, but the best we can do is give you a wither with double the health and a far superior A.I, ooo also the blocks it breaks with drop on the ground causing your poor little console to lag uncontrollably making it that much harder to fight Bedrock player: I just wanted to play fun block game
Java:"we are 10x Better than bedrock, bedrock has no potentional, we are better in all class againts bedrock" Bedrock:We may not as better as you but you sure that you are 10x better than us?
@@Darksencevious bedrock edition is harder though, Fast hunger decrease, Slow regen, Bedrock wither. Bedrock edition is so fucking bad that its actually good.
Tried fighting the bedrock wither in a desert worst mistake so many blocks so much lag i thought i was gonna lose all my god armor and have a wild wither roaming a laggy desert all in a realm
That’s how I lost my whole world it was under my base and as soon as I spawned in from dying it crepped up I could tell how close he was by the shed lag
My tip to fight wither (bedrock) (Mobile) Equipments: Diamond set (amor) Head:protection 3 Chest:protection 4 Legs:protection 3 Boots:protection 3 Weapons: Bow - Power 5 Arrow instant healing II x 64 Diamond sword: smite 4 Cooked beef x64 Potions (8:00 min) Swift potion x1 Leaping potion x1 Invisible potion x1 (for nothing lol) Potions (effect tier II) Instant healing potions x6 (splash) Regeneration potions x5 (drink) Strength potion x1 (for phase 2) Enchanted golden apple x1 find sooooooo hard you have a chance to get it at ruined portal's chest (low chance) You don't have to use it anyway the boss fight just little harder without it *No milk* (it waste potions effect) (Only 1 bucket of milk at the end of fight) And a bed if you want a spawn point nearby Tip to fight: Find place with no trees and hills 1)Drink swift, leaping, invisible potions 2)summon wither 3)run away far enough so birth explosion can't kill you sometime it will follow you while it gonna to BOOM that was unlucky you will die for sure (just run away) Wither will shoot 3 times +1 time of silver skeleton shot you can reflect the last one but just ignore it I suggest you to move to left while it shoot make sure you have far distance so it won't hit you aftter it shot 4 times it will move to other direction hit it with bow (1hit) And then loop it (you can do like 2-3 shots of arrow if you pro enough or hurry) ther have timing that allow to hit more and dodge the coming skulls in time -when it gonna half health make sure you stand far away from it then shoot it so it will enter phase 2(enter phase 2 have instant-kill Aoe blast dmg) it will drop itself down and BOOM! Big radius summon 3 wither skeletons) I suggest to run away and drink Regeneration, instant healing, strength potions Lure it away from place that it enter phase 2 It attack pattern will change it will shot 4 times (2 sets) after that it will do dash attack which can kill you so make sure you remember when it will finish 2 set of shooting just run away prepare to attack after it dash hit it with sword (jump and hit on air for critical) loop this (may have lag sorry I can't help about that just your luck) when it die just step away so it won't drag you to hell with it(dead explosion) Then congrate! You beat the bedrock wither! (Drink milk at last lol ) Have fun
There is a reason that we call withers “nukes” on my realm in bedrock, they really are. We keep strict rules on the usage of nukes because of how destructive they are
Yeah withers on bedrock really are the equivalent of nukes. You drop one on a base and it's surely going to take alot of damage. A really solid strategy for pushing an enemy which is why I tend to be neutral and not play sides unless it's a close friend
A fight of a java edition wither can go from the original place to fifty or less blocks away. But bedrock edition can go from the original place to hundreds of blocks away so dont do it near your base
Yea it seems like the Creeper in bedrock are faster too, and iron golem can reach you even 3 blocks tall. Also bedrock zombies have a little reach than the Java zombie.
@@hligiselar1470 you are correct about creepers being significantly faster than the ones in Java, also tip for the iron golem reaching you from 3 blocks high make sure the terrain is flat (or atleast a 5 by 5 flat land)
Tip in general: for the first wither fight bring potions and milk buckets and fight it on the surface or in the ocean if you have a riptide trident. As soon as you get a beacon you can easily get more with resistance 2, the resistance is one of the only things in this game that protects against the wither effect in bedrock
@DT’s Lawyer Beacons have limited range depending on how many layers you put on it, but even at max layer its range is still limited up to 50 blocks away, which is still not enough range to prevent the wither from destroying the beacon due to the fact that its still in your simulation render distance. These words come from an expert hard mode bedrock wither killer.
@@nameisname5566 try again Beacon’s range is 50 block radius cylinder that reaches 25 blocks downward and up to build limit; if you’re not convinced, test it out yourself and look on the Minecraft wiki These words come from someone who uses withers to mine ancient debris and deepslate
I just fought the Wither an hour ago on my Pocket Edition (phone) Hardcore world (I limit myself to one death, there isn't actually Hardcore mode) with full Protection IV Netherite helmet, chestplate and leggings; boots had Fire Protection III. My arsenal was a Smite V Netherite sword, Power IV Bow, three Strength II potions, three Night Vision potions (8:00), two Regeneration II potions, three Golden Apples, two Totems of Undying and a stack of steak. The battle took place at bedrock in the Overworld, far from my base. The first half was pretty easy, absorbing almost no damage, there was no lag (yet), and in just one minute, I had him down to half health. Now, I forgot that the Wither blasts out when turning to melee only, so that used up one of my Totems. From here, the battle just became 10x worse. I was lagging with about I'd say 8FPS from the amount of tile drops and destruction. At this point, I just wanted to get out, but I stupidly underestimated the dude and made no exit. I had made a long-ish exit, but he destroyed it with ease. I could not even get near him and get a hit off with his speed and my lag combined. I look at my health bar with ALL of my consumables and Totems used up, and I was at TWO hearts. I already knew at that point that this was the end of me and my world, and it didn't take long before I was blown up. So now for my advice on fighting the Wither on phone, on Hard mode/ Hardcore: just don't go into battle with one of these guys. Without my lag, I would have definitely defeated him, but since I'm on mobile with a standard phone, I doubt there was any chance of victory. If you do decide to battle the Wither, I highly suggest NOT doing it deep underground in the Overworld. Instead, battle him on a flat surface in the Overworld, FAR from any of your bases/ creations, prepared with everything I used and more. Go from Golden Apples to Enchanted Golden Apples, two Totems to six totems, just improve wherever you can. Lastly, you can just trap the Wither in the End Gateway Portal, but I didn't want my first Wither fight on this world to be such a joke, I wanted to fight it the proper way. In conclusion, the Wither fight on Pocket Edition is DEFINITELY the hardest and most dangerous battle there is.
Here are some tips for bedrock wither: 1.its more easier to defeat the wither with a crossbow 2.the bedrock wither has a attack pattern that you can follow, he will shoot you four times and stops for a second then goes to another position, so i recommend to train your timing, 3, it's pretty easy to dodge the wither attack, when he is shooting lust crouch and move sideways, while he's done then shoot him 4.in his final phase, dodge, attack and repeat it is best to take your time and hit him one by one (Hope this helps)
also splash potions of instant healing are very useful since the wither on his final faze is not immune to potions and you can cheese like a free 39 dmg (undead type mobs have instant dmg and instant healing reversed)
I had a very high space world and it was old so copying it for each update sucked. I decided one day "yeah I can beat the wither, I've seen people do it" but little did I know the difference of bedrock and Java. But originally I thought the high speed and attack was because of the laggy world, now I realize that I just have to deal with that
If you want to kill one just spawn it in a strip mine away from your house then in final stand just rush it with strength and speed. Also bring like 20 insta health pots and like 5 buckets of milk and you will be fine. The worst thing to do against the wither is a prolonged fight because all the wither will eventually do is drain you of your milk and health pots.
bedrock wither's charge attacks is also deadly as well, managed to take out 4-5 hearts of a player with full netherite's heath with one swoop if you're not careful.
5:30 So far, It does look alot harder, but not to an insane degree. 5:32 Are those wither Skeletons? and did it just tackle? I see. that's why people fear the bedrock wither
All i see here is that wither as an effect is busted on bedrock edition and a joke in java edition. In bedrock its like "you got hit once so now you are dead."
Tip: fight the bedrock wither with a riptide trident and elytra in the rain. You go so fast(faster than fireworks) that the wither cant hit you with its skulls, and you can hit it with a sword while flying by.
Java wither: *shoots wither skulls 2-3 times and stops for about 4 seconds* Bedrock wither: *casually pukes out wither skulls nonstop on everything under a thousand block radius*
If we qre going by MatPat's theories, we can conclude that the wither that drove the ancient builders to hiding is atleast as powerful as the bedrock version's second phase And that version was still no match for a WARDEN
Me and my friend defeated 3 withers at once, in hard difficulty in bedrock... I found that if you're at 2 or 3 heart, just spam golden apples, your health will recover very quickly.. spam golden apples until ur on full health and then attack wither, just in case take totem with you, this trick don't need any potion or milk buckets... Just proper armour weapons totems and at least 64 golden apples and you're ready to go :) I hope this will be helpful.
If that happens im probably sure the wither will have atleast 7 times the health and damage of java wither and tracks you farther, moves faster and has skull blast that is going to break obsidian
Tips if you're playing in bedrock ver. Create a separate set of armour for bosses the ones that you will be ok to lose. Its guaranteed you'll die. If not by the boss but by the lag or bugs.
Fun Tip: The Wither sometimes shoots a blue skull. You can repell that skull like you do when you reflect back a fireball from a Ghast. The skull will then reflect back at the wither, causing damage and acts as a homing move.
At one point, I decided to try and get the bedrock wither to half a health using the blue skulls, although I did lost my maxed enchanted boots for that it's well worth the experience
I liked that the Weather Boss in Bedrock. You can memorize his movements. He shoots four heads, but the last one is slower and stronger, and you can change its direction. Unlike the Java, he sticks in your face and hits non-stop.
This post will explain why The Wither is much harder on Bedrock than Java. Most Java players won't realise what actaully happens on Bedrock trying to fight this thing. Java: When finding a mob, the Wither will hover in the air and fire wither skulls at it. Each head fires on its own, allowing it to focus on multiple targets at once. It can rarely also fire a blue wither skull which can go straight through all blocks except bedrock.. The Wither won't actually target a player until they damage it. The Wither recovers one half heart every second, and dealing the killing blow on a target will instantly heal it for 2.5 hearts. When reduced to half health, the Wither will gain armor that makes it immune to damage from fired arrows or thrown tridents. Possesses 300 health, the equivalent of 150 hearts. Bedrock: When noticing a mob, the Wither will fire three wither skulls and a blue wither skull which will go through blocks. If the Wither is unable to find a path to its target on Normal difficulty or higher, it will fire blue wither skulls in towards its target to make a tunnel straight to them, as well as in random directions. When Minecraft players reduce it to half health, the Wither will cause a big explosion with the force of 16 TNT that will spawn Wither Skeletons on Normal difficulty or higher. It will additionally gain the armor it possesses in Java Edition. It will also use a dash attack which will damage blocks and mobs within its path. Possesses 600 health, the equivalent of 300 hearts and twice the health of its Java Edition counterpart. Happy hunting 🙂
Another thing is you can trap the Java Wither using bedrock and suffocate it hat's why it's easy to obtain loads of beacon in Java while on Bedrock, you can not do anything to suffocate the Bedrock Wither, you can only trap it temporarily until it reaches half health and then it would be unstoppable.
Bruh i fought the wither in bedrock and it was such an epic fight. I died several times with enchanted netherite armor and tools, in the end i had the idea to use my elytra to fly away from it and then keep slicing him up while flying. We went on doing this up to y=515 and i finally killed it. Im glad that i summoned him in a desert cuz the place now is full of holes
