Bible teacher Derek Prince highlights Jesus ministry as a Priest. Jesus is the Pattern of our own priestly ministry. Jesus was and is a Priest.
The author of the letter to the Hebrews describes the sacrifices Jesus' offered:
a. He offered prayer in His earthly ministry (Heb. 13:15)
b. He offered up Himself by the Spirit to the Father on the cross (Heb. 9:14)
c. Jesus continues to intercede in eternity (Heb. 7:24). He shares His burden with those who are called as intercessors.
Jesus is our pattern in this. We are called to the same ministry: to prayer, to the offering of ourselves (as a living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1), and to the ministry of ongoing intercession.

Posted intercession means to stand between. Stand between God and country, family etc. Abraham stood between Sodom and Gomorrah and God, Moses between the Israelis and God, Esther stood between a decree and judgment. The list goes on

Intercession relies on The Holy Spirit for guidance and wisdom. You're only seeking The Spirit, not the world or man for their own benefit. You're accessing Him as your counselor, searching words and wisdom of the Spirit to guide you in prayer for the benefit of another. You're literally in total reliance of God, and in order to love your neighbor. It's abiding to His two most important commands.

Might I inquire into the nuanced theological conundrum arising from the Levitical requirements stated in chapters 20-21, which mandate that a High Priest must be without defilement, including bruises? Given that Jesus bore many bruises during His crucifixion, does this conflict with His role as the eternal High Priest? Was this criterion relaxed in His case, or should we understand that Jesus fulfilled His priestly duties only after His ascension, when He offered His blood at the heavenly altar?

patricia I'm sorry that I had a real witch come between us, it was a curse from the revolutionary war... that's why certain people would try to deny our Irish heritage...I wish I paint you a pic but it would be too ugly...you knew my family, you know me... I was possesed by unclean spirits that's why we fought for no reason...great grandpa misunderstood that woman he killed and after that every second son dies, the controversial one... dude I've always had your best interests I just didn't know how to apply the blood of Jesus ... yet this week I've been healed...of everything the good news is things will be easier that curse is off you and the people you love... I truly pray from a sincere heart and in the NAME OF JESUS that THE LORD OF HOSTS will quicken your womb and that you may enjoy eternity with your husband.... may the lord bless thee and keep thee and smile upon the..
