Everyone is talking about ANT’s 6/24 night but not talking about his lockdown defense on Murray in the 2nd half. Jamal Murray went from shooting 8/15 & 3/5 from 3 with 24pts to 5/12, 1/7 from 3 with 11 pts and had two forced turnovers over which led to points to fuel our 3rd qtr rally. Jamal also went from +9 in the 1st to -17 in the 2nd. It can’t be overstated how good Ant was guarding him. He was doing an amazing job of denying him the ball off pick and rolls and not giving him any space on the 3pt line.

Ant leadership and attitude is just different. The confidence he gives his teammates is elite.

I’ll say it for you then since you can’t say it. The officials were literally trying to give this to Denver. I think the narrative was they were supposed to be the 1st championship team to win the 2nd round because for 5 seasons no championship team has done that, and the Nuggets were supposed to be the one. As you saw from the clip Edwards was hugged and hacked by KCP while driving down the paint (right in front of the officials) and the refs turned a blind eye. But Gobert barely touched Jokic, automatic foul.

When the wolves lost game 3 I told myself it’s either Nuggets in 6 or wolves in 7. And I’m so happy my second prediction was correct 😃 let’s go wolves.

I have never heard the NBA talk about defense until the Timberwolves this year. Its crazy how the Wolves are just changing the game. If they win it all, you can expect the league to be more defensive focused.
