With the release of Dawntrail, Tsukuyomi Extreme is finally soloable without using gap closer shenanigans to do the meteor phase... Instead you can just kill her before it ends!
Pretty sure this is possible with Viper/Samurai as well, maybe other jobs with very good ways to hold burst. Basically hold 81%ish to see Nightfall cast then burst, build whatever you can during adds then burst again. I imagine with coming raid gear this will eventually be doable by all DPS. Pretty sweet farm right now though, get your Kimonos while they're hot.
