Friends! Happy Sabbath! I'm going to pin the lyrics to the top of the comment section right now. Thanks to everyone who offered such positive feedback on the new verse and version! Jesus walked upon the water. He stilled the storm and calmed the angry sea. With His hands, He healed the leper. He made the lame to walk, the blind to see. He fed a thousand people with a loaf or two of bread. And when the ruler's daughter died, He raised her from the dead. Jesus is a God of miracles. Nothing is at all impossible to Him. But I know this: Of all His miracles, The most incredible must be The miracle that rescues me. Jesus bled and died to save me. A price that I could never pay alone. When He rose again, He gave me The greatest gift the world Has ever known. Oh I can be forgiven every time I turn to Him And some day He will lift me up to live with Him again. Jesus is a God of miracles. Nothing is at all impossible to Him. But I know this: Of all His miracles, The most incredible must be The miracle that rescues me. I know He will walk beside me And heal my wounds and calm my troubled heart. Always there to bless and guide me; My psalm at night, my bright and morning star. His love and grace will never end; each day they start anew. My name is graven on His hands, and yours is, too. Jesus is a God of miracles. Nothing is at all impossible to Him. But I know this: Of all His miracles, The most incredible must be The miracle that rescues me. The miracle that rescues you and me.
Hello ma'am Shawna, have a good day to you do you have an accompaniment of this if it is okay with you can we borrow it we will use it for special number in our Church this coming Sabbath day
My Doctor says l dont have much time left and listening to your songs they warm my heart l dont no much about God but i do thank you for your songs l really needed to hear somthing great
Allan - I've been thinking about your situation and thought I would share something from the Bible that has meant a lot to me. Romans chapter 8: 38-39 [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. There is so much love and acceptance, understanding and light waiting for you on the other side. Nothing can separate us from the Love of God
Allen it’s never too late to invite Jesus into your heart. God sent Jesus to earth for YOU. Jesus died for you to take your sins away. All you need to do is accept that free gift of salvation
I LOVE this version. What beautiful voices. My heart feels so full. Thank you to all of you for the instruments, the voices.... an your inspirations Shawna. ❤❤❤
'My name is graven on his hands and yours is too'...this is so beautiful and assuring. Im from India and we've been singing ur songs along with our kids choir for quite sometime now and can never have enough of your pure music and stirring lyrics. Thank you Shawna.
Your songs are mine and my kids' favorites! We play them in the car & on the piano and get so excited when a new one comes out. My 3 year old son with Autism belts out entire verses (with actions) of the song "I will shine" and it's about the sweetest thing I've ever seen. The song the Miracle is my 6-year-old's favorite and the song that introduced us to your music! Thank you again for blessing us all with your talents. I can't wait to hear the premier of this song in 8 hours! :)
Hi Michelle, thank you so much for this awesome comment. That makes me so happy to hear about your kids...and especially your 3-year-old. That makes me so happy.
Thank you for such beautiful music. My 57 year old sister just died from cancer. My daughter sang this song at her funeral. I know she wasn’t given the miracle of having her cancer taken away but it doesn’t change that fact that he enfolded her in his arms and took her home. She will prepare a place for us because she is engraved on his hand! Bless you
I love hearing this song. I just found out the Kristen was actually the young girl that sang it years ago. I love you music Sister Edwards and I have taught some of them to my children, my primary while serving as a counselor, also to the children I've taught at school using instrumental. The lyrics draws me closer to Heavenly Father whenever I listen it and so as every other song you've composed. Sending hugs and kisses from across the Pacific Samoa 🥰❤
I think the pianist might have enjoyed performing this as much as anyone. What a talented group of musicians performing a beautiful song about our Lord!
These lyrics are so comforting! I love this so, so much, Shawna. I’m so grateful that Heavenly Father blessed you with this wonderful gift of music! It makes our world even more beautiful! Thank you, with all my heart!💜🙏🏻💜
@@ShawnaEdwardsMusic You’re so welcome. As I watched and listened, I couldn’t help but to think myself, struggling through my trials but having Him right at my side. This brings comfort and peace to me at a critical time in my life where I really feel the need to know and feel His love for me. This was just exactly what I needed…I can’t thank you enough.😭💜
How I love the great good that we can do for each other as we point each other to the Savior. Thank you for how this reaches and reminds, teaches and testifies. Thank you.
I love your choice of singers..always rich and filled with the spirit… Thanks for your beautiful changes…I loved the original version as well…❤️ Thanks for all your uplifting music…
I looked this up because our ward choir is learning your song. I'll have to practice it 100 times at least before I will be able to sing it without tearing up. Truly a beautiful song!
@shawna Edwards i’ve been waiting for this all week! I was primary chorister for 19 years and taught it at least three times. Now I’m really society president and I’m always looking for miracles. I can’t wait to find someone to sing a duet with! The third verse is absolutely inspired and I want to thank you so much for sharing your gifts with the world.
My 3 youngest children have been kidnapped on March 8 2020 and I have been fighting financially and emotionally to get them back ever since! They were 5 years old, 3 years old and 4 months old last time I physically saw them. My baby is close to 3 years old now and won't remember me... I also have 4 older children that miss them sooooo much! This song gives us hope to see them again and we know that we will be reunited soon! My oldest son who has just submitted his mission paperwork, my 14 years old daughter and myself on the piano are preparing to perform it in Church the first Sunday that the little ones will be back. It's going to be amazing and the Spirit will be strong . Many tears will be shed. We are praying that this can happen before Daniel my son leaves on his mission by the end of this year... Shawna, you are God sent! Your music has been an anchor in our lives in the darkest of times! Heavenly Father loves you. We love you. 🙂
I'm truly sorry to hear about the challenging situation you're going through. It's heart-wrenching to imagine the pain and uncertainty you must be feeling. Here's a response that acknowledges their pain, expresses empathy, and offers support: I can't even begin to imagine the pain and difficulty you've been going through since March 8, 2020. The situation with your youngest children is incredibly heartbreaking, and it takes tremendous strength to endure such challenges. I'm so sorry that you and your family are going through this. It's inspiring to hear that the song brings you hope and optimism during such a tough time. Music has a unique way of touching our hearts and providing solace. I truly hope that you are reunited with your children soon and that the love you and your older children have for them helps guide you through this difficult journey. Wishing you strength, courage, and a swift reunion with your precious children
Absolutely Beautiful and heavenly. Very beautiful voices. I love your songs, Shawna. You are so talented. This is my favourite song. It makes me shiver. I love it.
Thank you Naomi! I appreciate your support! The love from everyone just makes me want to write and compose more work to share with my friends all over the world
Always loved the original, but I Love the recomposed version!!! Amazing❤️ Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents, and glory to the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, The Great Redeemer of our souls.
The third verse you’ve added and slight word changes are incredible. Thank you for sharing your talents. I want this song forever “stuck” in my head in my efforts to always remember Him.
Just wow! Everything works perfectly! My son Ethan is trying to play on piano some of your songs namely : David and Goliath, Noah, and Count on Joseph. He’s just 6 years old
"My name is graven on His hands and yours is too!" SUCH powerful lyrics right there and said in such a beautiful way. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us, Shawna!
@@ShawnaEdwardsMusic Thank you so much! I just wanted you to know that my family and especially my little brother who has down syndrome absolutely love your music, especially the miracle! Almost every night he asks us to read him the Miracle book or to listen to the song! I can't even tell you how many times I have been having a hard day and I turn on one of your songs and it automatically brings me peace! Thank you for sharing the your talent with the world and for writing music that helps me "Hear him"!
I just love how you made this song so special! I love the new verse! It’s just all so beautiful! Just what we need to remember our Savior during these troubled times! Thank you so much for your wonderful talent you share with us! Everyone that shared their talents in this version was so awesome!
Yes He is Heaven Father healed a friend of mine. He healed her of Cancer People have started a Homeless Village for the homeless here in KC Praise the Lord

@@ShawnaEdwardsMusic this is one of my favorite songs... we sang it a lot at primary while I was music leader and all The children used to sing it so beautifully.
Thank you so much Shawna for this song. This is so powerful. I don't get tired of listening to and repeating the song over and over again. Each line is full of meaning that really impacts my Christian life. God bless you, dear Shawna. Would love to hear more songs from God's inspiration through you. My daughter loves to sing your songs such as this song (original), Risen, and Gethsemane.
Jesus is a God of miracles🥰 Nothing is impossible to him and the greatest miracle is that he rescues us from the eternal death. Thank you for this beautiful song
Its my first time to listen to this beautiful music/song and can't stop playing it. I love💕 it so much, I am so touch that it got me sharing tears😭. These part: " I know he will walk beside me. And heal my wounds and calm my troubled heart❤️". " Always there to bless and guide me; My psalm at night, my bright 🌞 and morning star". This music 🎵 is great, and POWERFUL. I can't stop playing it over and over. Thanks so much for blessing my heart this morning.
Thank you for this beautiful comment. It makes me happy this morning to read your comment. Those are my favorite words in the song as well. 🙂 Wishing you Happy Sabbath, and many blessings. Shawna.
They are a group of talented youth instrumentalists from all over Utah. They come from a few different orchestras - all of them were graciously willing to help out on short notice!
I didn't think you'd be able to improve that song.....but you did. The new words and arrangement are so powerful. I love it. Thanks for everyone's beautiful talents.
I really like this new version, but for some reason the singers' breathing in between phrases is really loud to the point of being distracting. Is that something that's normally taken out to make it sound more smooth? I haven't noticed it in any of your other videos.
A couple of things that might explain this - we are usually recording a group of people, and their mouths are not as close to the mics as these singers, who each had their own mic. Also, every sound engineer approaches this a little differently. Some may turn especially loud breathing noises down a little. Some are much less likely to nit-twiddle every detail - they prefer for it to sound as natural as possible, the way the singers sang it in the first place. Breaths are never taken completely out because that doesn't sound natural.
I love love love love love this version! Just two days ago I started a note on my phone with my favorite scriptures, and here is one from the Old Testament: Isaiah 49:14-16 "But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. "Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me." The closeups of you (Shawna) conducting, of singers and of others were my favorite moments to see. Edited to add: I watched again, even more carefully, with all of my children, and was touched so much when I saw our Savior carrying His cross!
Absolutely beautiful. I loved it when it first came out and couldn’t imagine I could love it any more, but I do! Thank you for sharing such a powerful message in such a beautiful way.
I am repeating this song over… and over… and over… and over again! What an amazing song and yet… it’s even more amazing than the children s’ version. Perfection♥️ On a side note… where is this filmed at (specifically the statues)
Listening to this is an uplifting, inspiration! I love the joy of the accompanist! Great work by composer, instrumentalists, and vocalists! My thanks to all for giving me a few minutes to focus on my Savior and be reminded that He will help us overcome the chaos of the world!
My sister and her friend sang this song in a devotional. I love this song. It warms my heart. The Savior's rescuing love surely is the most incredible miracle of all.
Dear Shawna, this song is so inspirational, such a powerful message! I have only recently discovered your songs and I am so blessed by them! You have such a God given gift. The songs have such melodic tunes. I can really connect with them. And I love the selection of soloists you have chosen! Lovely voices! God bless you!
BEAUTIFUL! May God richly bless you and your worship ministry giving ALL the glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples; Mark 14:22-25, the night before He went to the cross. Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood) , the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” Mark 14:26. What were they singing on such an occasion? Psalms 113-118. THE GOOD NEWS "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.."John 14.6 Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay our sins price.1 John 2:1-2. The Savior was born to die for our sins so we could live through Him. I Subscribed. God knew your praise ministry before the world was made! Ephesians 1:1-14. Prayer goes out for you and those here. A Crown in Heaven awaits all who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ that saves a soul. ( see"JESUS SAVES") 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20; Philippians 4:1. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek". This praise resounds throughout the earth: "Jesus Christ is Lord and God. Only He saves". He testified: ''I and my Father are One" John 1:1-5; 10:30 2 Samuel chapter 22:verse 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name." JESUS SAVES God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world. Mark 16:15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible) Isaiah 7:14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel. "God with us" in human flesh without sin. The Savior was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, died and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day never to die again. He is the first fruits of the dead. Only through Him can dead live! Matthew 28:6. Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER! Romans 5:8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him." “For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. " In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1:7 Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life) BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; again 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above. WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8.
Shawna! You have a musical gift given by the Holy Spirit! All your music is so BIble centered and true! I love how you are able to teach about Jesus with your lyrics! God bless you always and always and forever! We love you! My students have learned a couple of your songs and I get goosebumps every time I listen to them.
WOW!!! Amazing! Powerful! I really wish you could write more songs! . I have bought and sung 4 songs in my church with my wife. This is definitely on the list! Your songs truly could be some of the greatest of our day. Very unique, and beautiful without being excessively challenging. Great Job! Could not be more impressed!
@@ShawnaEdwardsMusic Well, I truly appreciate it! I will be a likely buyer for many of them. The chord progressions are incredible with the lyrics, they fit incredibly well.
Shawna, how extremely beautiful. It is anointed and so deeply touching. Please keep writing these amazing songs. To see all those vibrant young people is so very heartening. May you experience the wondrous love, grace and mercy this Easter. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. xox
Thank you, Lesley. What a beautiful comment. The young people who sang and played in the orchestra are so incredible. It was a privilege for me to work with them on this project.
I have used many songs now that I’m teaching Relief Society. This is just in time to go with the conference talk on the Balm of Gilead. They were favorites when I was primary chorister as well. Thank you!
I love this so so much - thank you Shawna. This song was meant to be - I was already singing along by the second chorus. Not very well though - its difficult to sing when you are crying tears of gratitude and joy!
I absolutely love this song. My grandchildren sing it at each baptism in the family. I never tire of hearing it and it still brings tears to my eyes. The new verse is so wonderfully done. You are so talented and I love the spirit each of your songs bring to me. Do you have an album?
Well, yes and no. I have some songbooks with CDs in them. But I don't have one with this version on. And I don't ship CDs any more because that just costs me so much money. But most of my songs are on RU-vid.
