Critically low after a very long glide as best-glide speed, I just slipped into a massive climb coming off a nearby thundershower. A miracle that brought me around the Euroglide task several days earlier than other competitors.
That's brilliant. We've all had rescues like that, where we are offered a gift we had no right to expect. They're fabulous when they come along, though I like to think of them as some type of reward for having done right by someone.
Whoa! 200m AGL! I fly my model gliders at that alti all the time! Haha. Where there is sink there is usually lift. Glad you found it and had a great flight! What is a Zwickau?
Awesome! WX, right?, the JS3 RES with the Australian dude, Mathew Scutter!... I am flipping coins now between the Ventus 3 that comes out with a RES or the JS3 in a few years. Huge congratulations with your big win of the Euroglide 2024!
One thing abaut the Js3 res: she is realy realy loud. The prop is relatively small and has to spin so fast that the tips are transsonic. The ventus res has a bigger prop and is more efficient and quieter. But i have not flown either, so take my advice with a grain of salt
@@randomguyinanglider Ok, that is good info, I also heard the motor of the ventus is a more powerful version. Together with the Ventus being a better performer in weak conditions, it might be the better option for me. But I still have time, probably will take 3 or 4 years before I can buy. In that time probably new versions/Models come out.
