WOW, Dr. Harvey is a beautiful woman. had to say that. i love her presentation. I wish idve known this was going on. idve loved to her and learn more about this sight we see the signs saying its there, but i havent gone. im near the Toltec Mounds and i wonder if these sights were active during the same time periods and if trade existed between the two?
I assume it was hyperbole, as bows and arrows were invented by the end of the the Palaeolithic, and were brought over from Asia by the ancestors of today's Native Americans. There may have been localised examples of bow & arrow craft being lost in a 'dark age' and then being reinvented or reintroduced from elsewhere, but I'm not aware of any documented case of that nature in the Americas.
