Am I the only one who DOESN’T go to bed at 9:30pm on a weekend? On the east coast, I am completely okay with being up until 12-1am to watch fights. Switching it up every once in a while is nice, but there’s nothing better than being at the beach all day, hitting brunch, or something like that, then coming home around 6-7pm, kicking the feet up and throwing on some fights to cap off the night.
I love ariel helwani but incredibly happy to see how well this show went with ric and gc , ric did a fantastic job in the chair , both of your hard work is paying off and gives me a lot of hope for mma journalism moving forward
This was a great show. Love the chemistry. Love Ariel but didn’t miss the whining he can sometimes do and the judgement towards certain fighter. None of that with you guys. You guys definitely level that out usually when he is on. Love the reading the questions without skipping any. Just great chemistry and you guys alone could do this for sure. Can’t wait to get Ariel back but didn’t miss him 😂. Ariel you’re the goat still. Just a great job guys. Keep up the good work.
This is actually the first show I've caught in like 2-3 months now, just been busy with life stuff outside of MMA content, but this was FANTASTIC. You boys did a stellar job without Ariel and it looks like if he's ever off sick, there's no reason to miss a show with you two being flag-bearers 👀
@@Mojo_Jo_Jo_ oh stop it. People make a mistake on the here and there. Don't come typing through here like you're infallible bro. Not to mention if you're not interested in PFL in other organizations you're not an MMA "Guy" your just a UFC guy. Popoff P.S. buttercup is the superior PPG
aljo spot on about chito. Chito is a talented dude, but it's like he blanks out in there and more concerned about opponents next move and not always working on a finish.
I think he did it at least once five or eight years ago it was just so long ago I don't remember when but he has done it before this week. My God I've been watching this show for f****** ever
Lets be real here...... 😅 i like Aljo before i start, but it is noy seans fault merab been waiting as long as he has for a shot. The same thing can be said about him not giving him that chance. I get why they dont want to fight each other but just because aljo lost the belt to sean doesnt automatically mean merab should of got a shot immediately. 😂 merab been waiting as long as he been waiting for a shot because of aljo and himself not because of sean 💯 that being said i understand why he fought Chito first. It is his only blemish on his record and to me, makes sense why he would go there first to rectify that. Not like Merab had to wait long, either 🙄
It's crazy it will be dope if they brought back Rick's pics for this, That was before on the nose matter of fact I'd be willing to bet that's why there's on the nose Good s*** Rick you've been killing that s*** for years And it's crazy I like GC it still seems like he's the new guy I don't know why
Just as a little aside. The difference in GSP fighting bisping and then leaving, and Jon fighting stipe and then leaving is that this would be per the fans perspective the second time Jon fought not the best guy at heavyweight. Bisping was actually the champion, yes reception was that Whittaker was the rightful favorite but in the same way bisping got killed by the fans for fighting hendo Jon should get the same for fighting a retired old firefighter who hasn't fought in almost half a decade and his last fight he got brutally kod. Jon fought gane and yes some fans said gane would win but Jon self admitted in all the press leading up that Gane was his easiest matchup. Not to mention gane wasn't the champion like bisping was, and gane just lost to ngannou, who for all intents and purposes it seems like Jon ducked. (No I dont think he did im just talking narratives) GSP beat the actual champion. Jon didn't, and GSP wasn't fighting a corpse. Now, Jon does have one advantage over GSP in this specific context because Jon would have two wins at heavyweight where GSP has one at middleweight. So you can argue that can outweigh it. Just devils advocate
Sterling "Cory's probably got better on the ground since our fight..." Probably? Come on bro Cory has work hard on his ground game he has gotten way better. I don't know why Sterling seems to trigger me. 😂😂😂
