00:01:09 We kick things off by recapping this past weekend in combat sports, including UFC Saudi Arabia, PFL Salt Lake City, and Bellator Dublin. 01:02:17 Paul Hughes joins the show to talk about his impressive PFL/Bellator debut and where he goes from here. 01:34:13 Ian Machado Garry stops by to speak about his fight with Michael “Venom” Page at UFC 303 this Saturday in Las Vegas. 01:58:22 The Parlay Boys recap their bets from this past weekend, plus more.. 02:33:30 Jiri Prochazka joins the show to discuss stepping in on short notice to rematch Alex Pereira and save UFC 303.
Talks in the third person; calls himself super sharp, super fast, super smart; loves gold diggers. Ian doesn't realize he's Colby with an accent. Let's go MVP!
I love Jiri, but it would be awesome for one interview with an interpreter. He has so much to say, but it seems hard for hit to articulate his thoughts and feelings.
Ian talks like he is trying to Conor talk. A big miss. He just looks weird ,he is not true to himself. Sounds like PFL Don s son. Hilarious. I vision therefore I am.
I believe Jiri was referring to when Pereira talks about his ancestors are with him when he fights…idk about the shaman part. Regardless Jiri is the man 💪🏽
Lack of elbows kills action as soon as the fight hits the ground... top guy can't do damage and bottom can't use an elbow to cause a cut and try to get up. Donn blocked me for telling him this
Poatan hangs out with one of the Pataxo(indigenous tribe) Chiefs. They are known to hold sacred ceremonies and use nature as medicine. One being the most powerful psychedelic, ayahausca. Not confirmed that Poatan has ever done it but I know it changes peoples lives. I’m guessing this could be something Jiri is talking about
I hope MVP shuts this dudes lights off. So cringey how bad he wants to be Conor. You should have a little tracker in the corner for how many times he’s used Conor’s quotes, “slap the head off ya” “bellator tick”. Dude is corny. Ian “the temu Conor McGregor” garry.
Sry guys but I couldn’t disagree more about Haney v Garcia 2 being bigger than Tank v Garcia 2…Haney got whooped worse than Garcia did, not to mention the lower weight class and completely drained Garcia. Plus the Haney antics, he’s lost all respect to all fans and nobody cares to see him fight
Are we not done with PFL and Bellator as a fan base? They have no more interesting fights than what’s shown on UFC early prelims and have absolutely 0 story lines attached to the fights. Legit no reason to watch
Mysterious Frank so paranoid about giving out personal details even if they’re as broad as what state does such and such live or what’s their first name lol
He just passive-aggressively hates on fighters who don't care about him and his show. Dude is that kid in school who got bullied and this is his form of revenge. This show is dying, thank God....
Strickland has not done anything. What memorable performance does he have besides getting knocked out by Alex. Could barely hurt Izzy when Izzy was way off his game.
Strickland does not deserve anything. Performance wise, he did poorly against Costa and was not at his best against DDP. Not to mention that he has become a boring, take no risk point fighter.
Letting active UFC fighters do power slap is the dumbest idea I've heard in a while. They would often get KO'd and definitely get brain damage -- shortening their UFC career.
Strickland deserves the title fight over Rob strickly (no pun intended) because he arguably beat DDP whereas DDP knocked Rob out. And Paulo Costa is a higher ranked win compared to Robs win this weekend. Also, Rob lost to Izzy multiple times and Sean easily beat Izzy 50-45. So don't get caught up in recency bias and try to agrue with those facts! Sean deserves the title fight over Rob no questions about it and it shouldn't even be a debate.
Well the question is also about entertainment. UFC has never been about merit. Sean (except for izzy fight) typically has boring fights. Rob’s (win OR lose) typically isn’t. And he KO’d Aliskerov like a MF. He also put the boots to Costa WAAAY more then Sean did. He also has two wins in a row. Sean only has one. Sean has also talked alot of crap about the ufc and their pay. So i bet he isn’t getting the shot. Rob v Sean seems obvious, wouldn’t you agree? 👍
Islam's my absolute favourite UFC fighter and Khabib was before him so IMO everything on your blatant effin egregiousness list are all coinkidinks😁😉! I thought Shara B had visa issues and that's why the UFC aren't bringing him to the US but that's not it. Apparently they're a bit more strict about not licensing disabled fighters in the US commissions and that's the ONLY reason.
