I been watching for years. im not in the mix like used to be But, i am generally happy too see you out there doing events. Big respect to my brotha the nose. Keep up that hard work ariel helwani
I loved the answer Alex gave to the Frozen question. I feel like there isn’t much out there on his personal life or upbringing and if there is I haven’t seen it. I’d love to see a more personal interview about him perhaps with Glover translating.
Ariel you rocked that press conference baby. You need to get to do more of those! I loved seeing you up there man, for real. So much of those boxing press conferences are a total drag and you directed that energy in such a dope way. I have heaps of friends who love fights but don't watch press conferences but I convinced them to watch it just for you and a few good moments jakey boi and jr had. But yeah, 10/10 Ariel. Love ya stuff mate. Always have, Helwani nose.
@@someonejunior4564 honestly, what grown man uses a kids movie about princesses to insult another grown man in combat sports in his prime time call out. Why do you think he would choose to do that? Him bragging about his fashion and his identity and claims that people don't understand, although all we ever hear is him being complimented, is just him having a tantrum and acting out against the traditional concepts of masculinity because they are concepts he doesn't fit into and instead of accepting that he's different and just being comfortable with it like many others in the UFC do, Cannonier to name one, he does the childlike thing of rebelling against it and trying to make people feel uncomfortable because that's how he feels, ranting on about his Mani-pedis and pearls, not realising nobody really cares that he does these things or watches anime, fighters aren't all pretending to be super macho cave men types anymore...mostly it's just Strickland and we all know he's a spanner short, but yet Strickland really bothered him... Izzy's PED use, along with the pressure of holding the belt has made him paranoid and outrageously self obsessive and his recent interviews have shown him to be more unstable than ever. He has no choice but to turn heel now because his insecurities have shown themselves, he hasn't lived up to his own hype and fans don't like it, don't like him. Turning heel means he's still keeping the brass happy, even if he loses. It's a win/win for him & I'm sure his contract keeps him comfortable.
@@RockNRoIIa_ haha. That's a saying primary school children use...how old are you? If you can't follow a lengthy reply about MMA, just move on kiddo. Let it go over your head.
i think izzys gona beat alex, i keep switching back n forth but i think izzy will come to fight as its gona be personal unlike the jared fight which was more like two friends clashing but who knows, thats y we love this sport
Do your research on Dana's friendship with Nelk boys. Steve gave Dana a $450,000 custom howler head Maybach for starters. They're all good friends through Dana's son and have been very generous with each other.
Also I believe he’s a partner with nelk on happy dad. Love them or hate them the nelk boys are huge with the younger demographic and them doing videos where they are at ufc and hanging out with Dana bring new eyes and fans to the sport. They likely have a mutually favourable relationship financially.
@@joshloewen5426 no it doesn’t lmao them kids could give 0 fk’s about the UFC they’re just watching Nelk and Jake Paul videos they aren’t watching ufc or any sports just cause they see them around athletes does not generally mean that they will watch the sport .
@@joshloewen5426 I see what you’re saying but unless there’s statistics on that I doubt it cause kids nowadays hardly even keep up with things along these lines lol
@@mma_3139 gaethe also doing a nose surgery so their timing is perfect!. I think the ufc should do: gamrot vs dariush fiziev vs gaethe Oliveira vs Islam Armen vs turner Poirier vs chandler What do you think bro ?
I really think Alex could be a big star if he beats Izzy and improves his grappling skills. However he needs to work very hard on learning English or that will keep him from being on that level for sure.
I hear you, but learning a whole new language is not that simple. There are no english speaking countries near brazil, and for someone growing up poor you basically have no contact with the language. As someone who has been learning a new language as an adult, I can testify how hard it is. On top of that, for sure he'd rather spend his time training, then learning a new language which would take him years to express himself properly.
@@mateusaugusto1812 tried to explain this on several different occasions but you’re gonna get single language speakers tell you “this is an American sport so he should know English”
@@zeynand4039 I agree. However, it's all about perspective, you are looking things in your perspective. Let's take Pereira as an example. The dude dropped element school and started working at the age of 12 to help his family. What's the chance of someone like that started studying at 35? Almost none. Gsp on the other has a completely different background. Went to college, he is Canadian, even though he's from Montreal, he has contact with English, and so on. If you don't put Alex's shoes you are not gonna get it. Btw Charles has been learning English, but it will be a long road for him to be able to speak, specially confront an English speaker in a press conference(He will probably be retired by then)
@@abhaymohancm4565 Jan defended his belt once against Adesanya only so what’s your point? Wasn’t even his actual weight class so if you want to be technical he has yet to defend it himself against an actual 205’er so your point sucks
@@mugen11120 he gave adesanya the first L in his career Guess what if he lost against izzy It would’ve spoiled the entire division Don’t forget what this man has done Jan has earned his shot by defeating rakic He didn’t make any excuses when he lost , he took against one of the best guys in the division and it’s not his fault rakic broke his leg
i find it tough to watch interviews with translators, i always try n watch but end up skipping to the next part but props for talking to alex(one of the hottest properties atm in ufc for sure) although i can sit through olivieras interviews cos he seems so cool and friendly and more importantly Humble
is it fair for Ian to be mad? he won his last fight due to medical stoppage.. and was losing that fight... his fight against glover wasn't competitive....
Ariel you whining about Dana every show is weird and GC joining in was even more weird. He should stick to giving us horrible bets like he actually knows something.
Lol Jan didn't understand like 25% of your questions and/or words. He would answer something different lmfao and Ariel is just like what ever lets go with it.
Nate is such a diva these days. He is supposed to be on a big contract, well more than his talent deserves and if he wants out of his contract so much he has the option to fight Khamzat. The UFC doesn't owe him anything.
