Dear Pastor Jenkins; It makes my heart glad to see that the Vision and Mandate of Christ is being fulfilled and carried forward through your Ministry. We as a people have abandoned the call to a great extent and our houses of worship has become entertainment houses, which appeals only to their ( feelings) and not to the Soul of Mankind. Be blessed as you continue. the role is demanding, and yes at times challenging, but by God's grace I pray that you will stay the course. as he gives you strength. TO GO BE THE GLORY.

Teach man of God

What a true leader and stand-up man Pastor Jenkins is. He took responsibility for not teaching his church how to pray. But I have to disagree with him though--he DID teach this many times--years ago, and even recently I think. I am not a member of this wonderful church because I live 2 hours away. But I have been watching his sermons online every day for the past 7 months and have seen Pastor Jenkins teach the P.R.A.I.S.E. acronym message before. My daughter and I try to stick to that model when we pray together before bedtime. Pastor Jenkins, if you or your staff ever read this, I want you to know that I support you, listen to you, learn from you, appreciate you, and try to get it right. I wish I could join your church somehow, as I do not have a church home. Yours has been the one that feeds me and I praise and clap right along with the congregation like I'm there. Love and thanks to you and to our God for giving us you! :-D

Great teaching on prayer

Pastor Jenkins Sr might be the first pastor, in decades..., to be rebuking his congregation on speaking in tongues, amen!! Most of people speaking in tongues, just be babeling because they think they should, its unbiblical... Theres a story about africans visiting a pentacostal church in america, they were shocked when the congregation started speaking in tongues! They asked somebody what was happening and why some of them were speaking african curses in the church... If its not another language then your native language and nobody can understand you to translate, its not biblical...!!! God bless you all and bless pastor Jenkins for his humility to admit transgression and rebuking his flock and himself, really AMAZING!!!!

Ok. So he says praying in tongues should be done at home & how that’s a heavenly language you pray to God in. So what about when someone is filled with the Holy Ghost in church? Are they praying or what?

Thanks Pastor Jenkins ..i want to ask questions In 1 Corinthians 14 , its written that he who speaks in tongues speaks to God and he who prophesies to men , Does it mean that when we pray in tongues in Church ,we are not speaking to God? Did Apostle Paul expressly teach that we shouldn't pray in tongues in the church ?
