Sadly I don't think Ireland will get a chance. For one the Taioseach is a staunch supporter of the EU. After all why wouldn't he be what with all the massive funding Ireland has received from the EU? But also because as a nation Ireland is up to the eyeballs with billions upon billions of Euros borrowed and no realistic way to pay that money back.
No chance for ireland im afraid. Their only hope is if the EU collapses. With TURKEY, albania, serbia, montenegro on the waiting list it will not happen within any of our lifetimes.

I am flabbergasted at what you just said, Nigel. I knew the EU was full of fanatics, but how the Lisbon Treaty was brought about by such deception shows me they are not just fanatics. They are evil fanatics. It seems that Britain got out just in time and thank you for everything you did to bring that about.

I'm from the Netherlands and the first time i was allowd to vote since turning 18. I voted no is sought out as much infor as possible researched it. And then what those politicians did after that made me hate and distrust the EU from that moment. When we got the euro i knew it was done for at least the U.K kept the pound wich makes it more possible to leave the E.U.

Nigel seems like an amazing man. As an American when I think of the best aspects of the UK I think of him, and sottish short bread cookies those are delicious. I just hope Europe can fight off it's worst totalitarian nature. Politicians are a plague but Europe seems to have an even worse sort.
