The adventure continues and this time we’re back at Wembley Stadium for the League 1 play off final between Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley.
Only one team would be playing in the Championship next season and both teams were desperate to win!
The first half was very slow and poor however a red card for Barnsley sent them down to 10 men. However they had the best chances, but in extra time Sheffield Wednesday smelt blood and peppered the Barnsley goal.
A couple of amazing saves and a stunning disallowed goal in the last Second Sheffield Wednesday found a way through with Josh Windass coming up with the late late winner.
Sheffield Wednesday won it and are in the Championship next season!!!

When the goal went in Darren Moore stood there clapping and staying in the technical area, Arteta hasn't been inside his technical area since he became manager. The Sheffield Wednesday Fanbase for me is the Best in England when you think how poor they have been in the last 24 years as they was one of the Best teams in England in the early 1990s 4 Major cup finals Europe top tier football 1984-2000 they sometimes got 50k fans at Hillsborough stadium back then- Super Fans Swfc have!
