this video is gaining traction so I decided to make some things clear. Youngseo was still in the group when I made this video (immediately after the lineup got announced). Youngseo left January 5th 2024 due to personal reasons.
Yeah judges was really impressed by her in good girl bad girl performance she was chosen by judges in top6( I had seen them talking in ep1 they were yunah has a celebrity look)
This! Heavy on this. They wanted to do another NewJeans group (young sweet, catchy music, social media boosted) but with a different concept (magical girl? concept)
@@princessdollgfa little bit l*lita too :(, i watched the mv and i was like “would be this appropriate for men whos +30 and older?” idk why that was the first idea that came up on my mind after the nj first meet&greet (men were +35 and older)
@@aleynazkll oh nooo :( I forgot about that. People say they just want to follow their dreams as if they can’t just train and attend school then achieve their dreams once they’re 18+ ! They attract weirdos when they debut them young but that’s exactly their intention since it’s a gross industry 😞
@@jebunnesa6807you should get treatment before you say such nonsense. Wonhee was the most popular contestant from the very beginning and had high ratings throughout the show
@@user-vr2jp6jj4i I think you watched a different show cz Wonhee definitely was not popular back then and I think those who were there for their visual liked wonhee And yeah actually I need a therapist cz of all this rigged show and all of your nonsense
if they didn't change the voting ratio(50% kr & 50% intl) Jeemin(and maybe Jiwoo too) will debut but they changed it to 70% kr & 30% intl voting and only two will win that voting, which Wonhee & Youngeo won top2 voting, the other four remaining members were chosen by judges. Without judges picking the final members and they based it on the voting this will be the lineup : WONHEE, YOUNGEO, MINJU, IROHA, JEEMIN AND YUNAH. The only member that will not debut is Moka if they based it on votes. Since Moka was chosen, she debuted with the group.
At last performanceems, I lovedd so much tht time moka and jeongyon ( i can't remember her name) They slayed last performances, at finale even i though 'joengy...' she will debut without my yunah ❤
we do though?her tomboy stage.she showed her good stage presence.ig most of y'all people just didn't expect her to debut because y'all didn't appreciate her enough🤷🏻
@@HeHeeHeeheHelol jeemin and channel is the most beautiful trainee there And they just debuted the ugly one Maybe korean beauty standard is worldwide ugly standard😂
I agree. She stood out the least to me. She kind of reminds me of Haram from Billlie. Both look similar and have talent but at first Haram didnt get a lot of interesting parts that showed her voice and expressions well and didnt have as much experience/confidence but since Ring My Bell she started to stand out. I think in a comeback or two Illit will have a different vibe that is a bit less "kiddish" and be more vocal centric and then Yunah will shine. She suits that more where Magnetic definetly suits someone like Moka better with her style of dance and cuteness and Minju's vocal style in the verses. That or I can see her being someone that doesnt stand out so much in title tracks if they stick with similar concepts and less vocally demanding tracks but might stand out when they explore different stuff with bsides.
I am sorry Wonhee always looks so scared lol she is so cute tho but I hope one day she will be able to comfortably preform! But I cant wait for them to debut!! Wishing them all luck!!
She’s just got big eyes and I mean big iris. I have got bigger irises just like her and I always look wide eyed and scared even if my eyes are barely open
Wonhee was obviously from her first appearance. Despite how lacking her training was she was very charming from the beginning and got a lot of screentime so she was an obvious debut member. I am glad she improved so much bc I was pretty worried that she wouldnt improve enough despite her being a favorite
Yep, while her Fifth Season was immensely impressive, for me her first appearance was the one when I thought “She’s debuting, no other way”. Because only a natural idol is capable of radiating so much star power despite low confidence and small training time. She was like an unpolished gem, a pearl shining through muddy water.
i feel yunah and yeongseo suit a girl crush concept better. yeongseo was so cool in tomboy! the lineup members was kinda clashing in the sense of each girl's image/style... so ya i'm also speculating if youngseo left because the concept didn't suit her and maybe she was hoping to debut in a more hiphop/girl crush group.
I think younger fits in the concept , she can still fit the innocent /new jeans vibe , her facial expressions are so fun to looks at , she might be like Moka , but better in vocal
Yunah my fave since day 1, so sad though because most of my picks were not included to the final lineup but it's okay. I Hope they will debut soon and can't wait to support them.
people who weren't expecting Wonhee's debut clearly haven't watched the show and are judging by the tiktok clippings. I'm incredibly happy about her debut
It appeared to me now that if we judge on airtime a contestant received, then Chanelle should be their best option, which proven otherwise, haha @@avra3041
wonhee was so poupolar and it was a huge factor in her debut, moka was unaxpected but luckly the judges saw her in r6 and iroha was praised for her stability, dance skills and sp from the start + she was japan first pick. i think the only was we couldn't predict for the debut team was moka but the others all had an high chance to debut
I was so confidently 100% sure Bang Jeemin would debut there was no reason she wasn’t debuting she’s talented beautiful not forgetting ranked 1 there was no way she wasn’t debuting 😂😂
The truth is talented is not always the most important thing in K-pop. Many popular members are not always the most talented person in the group, in many produce101 seasons, people with actual talent gets ignored a lot, and it’s clear that charm and star quality is more important, plus it’s clear that this group is intended for Japan and Korea, while katseyes is for international viewer, so it’s very reasonable to debut wonhee since it she is ranked 1st in east Asia
You don’t see people hating on Sakura and Wongyoung from izone, but there is definitely more talented people in that show that has better skill than these 2. But these 2 just got something the others don’t and won the public’s heart, so stop using “talentless”as a excuse to hate on innocent K-pop idol
Real, people can't accept the fact that popularity>talent when it comes to survival shows(not just survival shows) there are so many groups that has average members but are still successful
Survival shows are also not meant to pick the most talented member. I don't know why people don't understand that. A survival show that was aimed toward talent would be 100% evaluated on individual performance (like the JYPE shows do for the majority of their run). There were NO individual evaluations in RUNext. A good group can carry a mediocre member. A bad group can take down the most talented member. And yes, RUNext was never intended to be a show/group tailored to international taste. They literally barely subbed the show, never uploaded it so you couldn't even watch it as a reasonable time as an international viewer and less than half of the behind the scenes content was even subbed. They were telling international viewers to fuck off the whole time but most couldn't pick up on it.
@@justsomegirlwithamustache6840 her stage presence was good but her head keeps moving with her shoulders when she tryna be intense n powerful like she cant isolate. it was def her best performance but there were better dancers. in her freestyle too she just dont got the upper body fluidity tho she can do footwork
@@justsomegirlwithamustache6840 not the time stamp 💀💀 i know exactly which performance and wat the performance looked like. she was more stiff in it than her other ones like giventaken or bang!. improving stage presence/power but sacrificing dance 💀💀 i dont mean like jisoo level stiff and she doesnt skip moves but could still be better. get her off ur high pedestal just bc she was like the only minor who was talented on the show
i agree with moka, minju, and wonhee because those three are not in my debut line prediction but after i watched their performance in those round you mentioned i kinda can see it (loving their performance)!
wonhee's debut was obvious, yes. but let's not bid a blind eye to her improvement since dreams come true, i never she'd debut since the start because of how clear the favoritism was BUT if we speak on which performance made me want her in illit, i would say scrum she definitely owned that stage, which is my opinion
I saw her improvement throughout the show but seeing her in RUN in the finale sealed it for me. It really fit her vibe so well and her expression was really good. It was such a satisfying culmination of all of her hard work throughout the show.
Tbh , i never expected Wonhee to debut , she lacks expression and looks as if she has no interest to be on the stage . The high note kinda reminded me of wonyoung's strawberry moon performance
She improved so much much by the end of the show though (Scrum, Aim High, RUN). It was obvious that she was struggling to learn dancing and singing at the same time, which she had only done for a month prior to the show. Not to mention that they only had a week to learn multiple choreographies throughout the show. It's pretty obvious that her facial expressions are not because she had no interest but because she was thinking about the dance moves too much. Many speculated that if she had more time to learn choreography, would her expression be the same? And we got to see in the finale that RUN was choreography they had the whole show to learn and her expression was great in that performance.
@@thelastsplash still not enough compared to other contestants who are already good from the start . wonhee still looked stiff till the end imo. I miss when idols actually felt like true celebrities. Like you can feel their star power even if some lack the talent. Wonhee doesn’t have that at all. If she was judged by JYP, she would be eliminated first lol.
not yall hating on wonhee.. like stop. She’s already debuted whether you like it or not. And she’s not just a pretty face, she can sing well too. don’t hate her cuz people love her- it’s not her fault she’s pretty like what 💀
Idk why are so many people still pressed on the others not making it Survival shows depend upon popularity and its not like just the best trainees are gonna debut💀 Thats literally how survival shows work, anf y'all need to move on, the other girls will debut in other groups in the future so dpnt even try hating on illit just cuz ur faves did not make it (mine didnt too)
@@Kep1er_OT8 all over kpop 💀 wonhee is about to be successful at the end of the day while youre stuck in your room smelling like shit on your phone talking about wonhee
@@Kep1er_OT8 disliking her is ok but seriously, leave sulli alone, let her rest in peace, and mind you, you're literally wishing that wonhee dies? Are you okay?
I've seen a few videos like this and this one has to be the one i agree with most. It's shows the performances where they really showed their true talents and performances where you can see that they truly improved in areas they were lacking.
Honestly, I didn't like Wonhee and Iroha at the start but they honestly improved greatly by the end of it and they have visuals, pretty voices good dancers (iroha our main dancer) and wonhee will have trained for almost a year by the time they debut. I wish Illit was 9 members (now 8) with Jeemin Jiwoo and Chanelle but belift was silly as hell for not thinking about the international fans.. but these girls will be iconic in the future just y'all WAIT
Omg Minju and Moka are complete star material. I want to love Wonhee because she's sooo cute but she lacks stage presence. She always looks lost and confused. I mean it's cute at first but like when you're performing it gets sort of boring very fast. I heard she improved a lot so I will continue to root for her because I believe she has the biggest potential.
I honestly knew Wonhee would debut from her first performance she looked like a little bee with that outfit and the hairstyle she has this thing called star quality, people can't take their eyes off her.
i think its more of a being really pretty thing but no hate lol, i think its not unexpected w kpop tho. i think once she has better facials and skills she will definitely be able to develop star quality and if she does i think she has it girl potential w her visuals.
as a belated r u next? watcher I'm really sad that youngseo left the group but hopefully it's for the best :( I just wish they could have brought one of the other finale trainees and added them to the group once she left, considering it was before they debuted that still could have been possible.
Guys stop hating on Wonhee in the comments. The shows over, Wonhee is debuting get over it. It's been months and you guys are still like this. She had potential, yes she might of been a little bit off in the beginning of the show, I mean she only was training at that time for about a month. But she improved a ton. So just stop hating.
Hearing Wonhee in this, I would've NEVER guessed she had that type of voice. She has such cute baby visuals in Magnetic that this clip just "leveled out" her age for me lmao All these concepts fit them so well too, again, these clips brought me a whole new perspective on their concept in general because they really ate with these!!
I really hope that Himena and Jeongeun can debut with them too, they’re really ready for their debut, i love how they expresses their faces and enjoy performing on stage 😔
She is all that but I think there’s a timidness and confidence issue that she’s still working through due to the lack of training she has under her belt and from all the hate she got post show…
