Hey guys congratulations you're in the water woohoo.. I recommend getting a really good commercial grade vacuum sealer so you can steal all your stuff not just your food but other things too and since you have a really good freezer when you get a nice Big Tuna or Wahoo or something you can cut it into sections and vacuum seal the stuff you're not going to eat right away it'll stay good as long as it's frozen 2 years 3 years I've had fish that I caught four years ago vacuum sealed it and it tasted like I just caught it literally because there was no oxygen screwing up the freeze of that fish congratulations you're back in the water

Dessert then tacos. Doing it right. This was such a happy episode. Sad to see your friends go, but the success of the refit, the anticipation of the departure, the knowledge of waits in the future... Really a good one.

I've subbed and watched quite a few sailing channels over the yrs -- my family situation has prevented me for refitting my old boat myself. I've also unsubbed or just skipped quite a few channels as the content and persons turned out to not be what I was looking for. However, for the first time I've decided to write a comment like this: you two are really unique with *extraordinary and good personalities* -- I have really enjoyed (and binged) your yard videos and I'm sure I will stick glued to your channel until your circumnavigation is done and beyond (unless I prioritize time to my own refit/rebuild). Nice job. Been there a few times myself over the last 35 years. Watching you provision was dejavu but since i started a carnivore diet. All i buy now is beef,bacon,eggs and butter and store in 3 100 litre deep freezers. Makes provisioning easy as 123

Amazing that everything was working when you splashed, pretty rare... There is a lot of "see ya later" as cruisers, but it's only because you get to meet so many new exciting people traveling around the world. Still, it had to be very hard parting with Bill & Grace... not just boat yard friends, but buddy boat friends and with Grace's health issues, not knowing for sure if they'll even get to cross the Pacific... it could be a very very long see ya later... Good thing is, since this isn't real time, we know Grace is improving every day and Calico Skies has splashed too... My money is on her continued improvement and a 2024 spring crossing... I doubt we've seen the 3 buddy boats together for the last time... One Life, Calico Skies and Delos will be anchored together and more memories will be made....

Moving Sailboats on the Hard, Haulouts and Splashdays are some of the Reasons why Monohulls Really Rock imho. I just don't like the Corkscrew/ Bucking Bronco notion of Catamarans, came close to buying a Trimaran many years back until discovering Costly annual stuff I just couldn't afford, and have been happy sticking with Cruising Monohulls ever since, plus avoiding everything to do with Sailboat Racing since the 1979 Fastnet Race Tragedy. Just started watching your channel so cool to see that you're in Puerto penasco us from Glendale Arizona call at Rocky point. I was just down there two weeks ago. Recognize all the places that you have been going to there really kind of cool. I don't see how you sailors go through all these tough times and repairs and long days and hot days and hot nights doing everything that you have to do to your boats to keep them in tip top shape. OMG, I was getting into the catchy upbeat music as the larger lift was maneuvering into position over the water. And then all of a sudden you cut the music out and it was briefly quiet. I thought, holy crud, something's going to happen. Don't know if that was intended, but great editing to put in a climax moment! It got me good!!! And can't believe he was sneaking into the snickers provisions. That's it, make him walk the plank. But of course, be sure to pick him back up as we need him to help us sail a bajillion miles:-) Love the videos as always, thanks for sharing!!!
