We were there in 1995.we stayed there for 2 nights. Great place . Staff also polite . Food was also good.we enjoied our stay fully.

Very nice ambience.outskurts full of greeneries, widest lawn ever, tea garden, hillocks, valleys,cool atmosphere drenched by rains Widespread Hotel , comfortable cosy rooms of all classes. Very attractive furnishings, spacy arrangements. I love it.

I had been here 18 years back when I got married. I am a great fan of Mithun da so i insisted my husband to take me to the hotel not for stay, but just see from outside. If possible to see him. On inquiry I came to know he wasn't there. I like yogeeta ji also. Was very happy to see around. At least I could to see the hotel. Rest was out of reach. Anyway that was fine.

I must share my experience with my stay here. As it was unique and a memory that I would cherish forever. I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights in April 2022. I must appreciate the behavior of all staff members. They are simply good and shows a great sense of hospitality. Anytime you need anything and call up someone, they ensure that they do the best for you. Mr. Kumar, who was in charge of food section, took a great care of my family, as we had some restrictions on food(allergic). He was so enthusiastic and ensured that, we enjoy the food with out any concerns. He instructed all his team members and took utmost care. Had the opportunity of meeting Mimoh Chakraborty in the dining space. With one request, he was kind enough to spend 15 minutes with my family at the room. This was very kind of him. No attitude, down to earth and very friendly. God bless you bro.

Yes I know Mithun Chakraborty owns a good resort well it is very nice to be there . We would love to go there with family.

I have been to Ooty long time back. It's a picturesque,hilly place . Surely want to go there again. I stayed in another hotel. Next time I would visit Mithun Da's Hotel( The Monarch) Simple and elegant interiors. I bought nilgiri oil, eculyptus oil and tea from there Travelling by plane wasn't problematic at all as the passenger's were exceptionally friendly, co-operative.

The hotel is located in such a nice location with mountains and greeneries around. And regarding the hotel all I can say is its a wonderful one and in class of its own.

Room rate is quite expensive,still it's a beautiful hotel made by great actor and humble human being mithun da।

Great human being as an actor a trend setter in early 90s 80s for his dance and hairstyle and acting.. Of course later part of life movies weren't good.. He adopted a girl made him daughter from not a privileged background and raised her gave everything that his 3 sons got.. Then doing all b grade films to support the families and people using his name and fame.. He didn't think of his downfall in career helped many many people even when his career wasn't at top.. A great cook too.. While many are popular actors very few are like him man with a golden heart Bollywood actors very commonly visited his hotel in 90s and later too..proud of u mithun da always.

Please mention room rates and other facilities also while sharing a review from a customer point of view also how good are the facilities. Have seen you have mentioned Rs 5000 for a room but is it worth it? People are more bothered about the stay and facilities not who owns the Hotel.

Mithun Da's hotel need urgent renovation with a professional architect. Such a beautiful view from balcony with wall 😀, that should be removed first.

I had been there 10 years back, Mithun Ji s behavior was so rude, he didn't agreed to take a photograph with him... I had a bad experience... I met Nagarjun Ji who was staying there, very politely he took snaps with us.
